Calum's POV
She finally came back. After 10 fucking days. She's back. I saw her from the window. "Ember?" I asked myself quietly. It was her. My world finally came back. "EMBER!" I yelled scaring everyone. I got up from the couch, flung open the door, and ran to her. She stood there, letting me come to her. I collided into her, hugging her. "Ember." I whispered my voice cracking. I felt tears coming down my cheeks. "Calum." She said, hugging me back. I pulled myself from and grabbed her by the shoulders. "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?" I yelled. She sighed. "I can't tell you." She replied sadly. I hugged her again. So many questions without answers. Luke helped Mason come out the house. "Emmie!" He yelled. He limped towards us. The cut he had was 2 inches deep. He was losing so much blood from such a cut. He hugged her and sobbed into he shoulder. "My little sister is back." He said softly. She smiled. "I'm glad I am." Her voice rang like bells. Something was different about her. I just couldn't put my finger on it. Thalia and Amber sobbed and hugged her. So did Luke, Ashton, and Michael. I noticed Jacob standing behind her. I remember him going to look for her. "Thank you for finding her." I said. He nodded. Everyone looked at him with grateful eyes. Ember looked a bit paler than I remembered. I mean she's always been pale but she could almost blend into the snow that was about to come next month. Her lips were more pinker, her hair was a darker brown, and her eyes were darker as well. Maybe new makeup? No that can't be it. What happened to her?

Ember's POV
Calum was staring at me questioningly. I ignored it. The smell of them was so overwhelming. I wasn't looking at them as friends and family. I was looking at them as my next meal. Being a Vampire wasn't easy. When Jacob explained it to me I didn't believe it. I didn't believe in this supernatural shit but now I was apart of something that I didn't think was real. My eyes would go black every time I would go for the kill. I was learning how to control my thirst but what if that wasn't enough to save the people I love from me?
