Ember's POV
We finished dinner in silence. "I'll wash the dishes tonight." Mason said quietly. I nodded, got up and went upstairs. I turned on the light Christmas light I hung up in my room. I had them on all year round. After a couple minutes of doing so, I heard scraping from my balcony door. "The hell?" I whispered to myself. I grabbed a baseball bat from closet. I used to play baseball when I was little but that's besides the point. I walked slowly to my balcony door and swung it open. "Ember! Let me up!" Jacob whispered yelled. "Jacob! You scared the living shit out of me!" I laughed. "Really? Sorry!" He said. "Now let me up!" I nodded and grabbed a rope that I used for whenever I sneaked out. I tied it to the balcony and let it drop. Jacob climbed up and hugged me. "You're always prepared aren't you?" He asked. I could tell he was smiling. I nodded. He chuckled and took me inside my room. He put on hand on my waist while the other was holding my hand. "Shall we dance?" He asked playfully. "Yes we shall." I replied beaming with joy. We started to dance slowly. With no music, everything seemed perfect. Music would have only distracted me. In this beautiful moment, I swear I could feel something. I just couldn't put my finger on it. I looked up into his ocean blue eyes while he looked into my light browns and then once again he leaned into the kill that would instantly kill me. A blissful kiss. Everything about this moment made me forget about the problems. He was my pain reliever and I loved him for every second of it. Even if it was killing me slowly, I still loved it. "I love you Em." He whispered into my ear. Now that was the blow that would finish me. "I love you too." I whispered back. Another blow to the broken heart that I had. He was everything I wanted. Nothing came into my mind but him. We stopped dancing, and we just stood there. Looking at each other. We kissed one more time before heading into the blissful night that would be consistent with beautiful sounds of pleasure.
