"Hey, Jord, can I talk to you?" I muttered to Jordan. "Sure." She said. She threw one last nasty glance at Hazel, Piper, Jasmine, and Lavender. We walked towards a secret row of abandoned lockers. "Jordan, I am done with them. I can't take it anymore." I sobbed. "I know, I know..." She muttered while hugging me. "You know what?" She said. I looked up. "Julie will pay for that. We're gonna get her back." She said. "Oh I know that." I said. My sadness had been replaced by anger I could not ignore. It was like a fiery anger had ignited inside me and it would not be extinguished. An idea sparked in my head. "Hey Jordan" I said mischievously,"You busy tonight?"
Me and Jordan met at the Mini Mart at 12 am. "You ready?" Jordan asked. "This is going to be the. Best. Night. Of. Our. Lives." I said defiantly. We bought 75 packages of Saran Wrap, 20 something cans of spray paint, 100 packs of the most revolting smelling air freshener we could find ( Winter Socks), a plastic 6 gallon bucket, 25 cans of Cheese Whiz, a roll of rope, a 25 liter bottle of water, and one of those freeze torch things. "Jordan, did you do your homework?" I asked with a devilish grin. "7 Hobokey Road." Jordan said. The night before I had asked Jordan to look up Julie's address. We drove to a small remote corner of town, and turned left. We found Hobokey Road and looked for number 7. Once we found it we parked around the corner.
I jumped out and grabbed the Saran Wrap and the Spray Paint and the air fresheners. We ran to Julie's brand new sports car she'd been bragging about for weeks-she won't be bragging about it this week. Jordan tossed me a can of spray paint and I sprayed my signature "A" onto the hood of the car. Then we grabbed the Saran Wrap and wrapped the whole car. It took a while but we did it. Before we did that, though, we stuffed 25 air fresheners under each of the 4 seats. Then we moved to the door. Jordan poured the water onto the front steps and then froze it with the freeze torch while I rigged the trip wire. I strung a thin, clear wire across the ground. Then I filled the bucket to the top with Cheese Whiz and left over water, making a revolting liquid Cheese Whiz slush. I rigged it so that when Julie slid on the ice and tripped on the trip wire, a bucket of Cheese Whiz slush would fall on her head. I sprayed a big A on the door. Then me and Jordan camped out in my car. "Guess what I got?" I said. "What?" Jordan asked eagerly. "Guess." I taunted. "Oh just tell me already." She said exasperated. "Popcorn for the main event." I said formally. Jordan laughed as she shook her head, her short, curly, red hair shaking. "You are the best planner ever." She laughed as we ate our popcorn. "My throat-" "Is dry?" I finished her sentence for her. I handed her a bottle of apple juice. "Apple juice? Seriously?" She asked, laughing. "Hey, don't you go insulting apple juice." I said jokingly. I look at the clock. 4 am. Julie gets up around this time since we have to be at school at 6 am. Because, of course a girl like Julie needs 2 or more hours to get ready. She turns on the light in her bedroom, signaling us to shut up. At 5:30 am she turns out all the lights, signaling that she is leaving and that we need to shut up and get down. She comes outside just as I remember to pull up my hood. I hear Julie slip, the whole rig coming down on her head. We come out from behind her mother's car, laughing, running full speed towards our getaway car. As we peel down the quiet street, disturbing the peace, we get one last rewarding treat for our hard work- Julie screaming "WHAT THE HELL??!!"
