Wasure Buki

Tsuki Kishi

The morning light hits Tsukis face she opens her golden eyes, she sits up her feet dangle over the ledge where she sleeps. The floor is cold bumpy and hard, she stands up, she puts on her long black pants and cream shirt, her long black soft hair is tied into a long ponytail. She walks out of the arch made of mud and straw to see the flowing river where children play, the fields of crops, and green grass as far as she could see. The sound of the animals filled the village. "Tsuki!" Three children yelled as they ran towards her, one jumped on her long black wolf like tail. The children loved to play with her tail and ears. She entertained the children for about half an hour, she began to harvest many different types of crops. Her life was peaceful here but she still wants to know many things, she has been alone since the age of 3. Everyday was the same in the village but she loved living amongst the people of the village and they didn't treat like and animal like the people that entered the forest. She filled her basket with that months harvest, she later planted this months crops. She walked into her small hut and walked to her food basket and put in everything she would need, she picked up the basket and carried it to some of the villages houses to give away or trade her harvest. At each house she was greeted with friendly smiles and comments. After she was asked to help some of the men on their hunting trip, she agreed and followed. She had fur beginning to grow and she began to shrink, her face grew out, her body changed into that of a wolf. She began to smell the air to see if she could smell any animals. She could smell deer to the east of the group she lifted her nose towards the east, the men slowly walked towards the east until, they could see a herd of deer in front of them. The loaded their bows quietly and pointed them towards the deer, they fired. The arrows speed towards the deer, the point pierced the skin of several deer. The blood dripped from the wounds, they loaded there bows and fired one last time, two deer that had been hit before began to run away. Tsuki speed after them, she dug her teeth into the flesh around it neck then dropped the animal and ran after the remaining one. She bit at the ankles until it lost balance and fell over, she then slashed it throat, the blood began to flow out of its neck. The men picked up the deer  and Tsuki carried the one she had just killed in her mouth. It dragged across the ground until they reached the village when some of the village women help Tsuki carry the deer to her house. Once she arrived at her house she changed back into a human with wolf ears and tail. She grabbed a blade and cut the deer into smaller pieces and placed it in a box across from her box of crops. After she walked on the rough dirt path past the shinning blue river, to a small hut near the large flourishing cherry blossom tree where Tsuki was first found sleeping after leaving the forest. "Hey Miss Mia!" Called Tsuki. A minute later a beautiful young women stood out, she had brown hair tied up in a small ponytail with green eyes. Tsuki ran over and gave her some meat and crops as a gift, Tsuki really cared for Mia as she took her in when she was found. The village began to go dark as the sun was setting, everyone left and went inside their homes. Tsuki went to sleep shortly after the sun set.

Bright blue and red lights shone into her house and deafening screams waking her up. She walked outside to see the village alight. She saw the homes being burned she ran franticly towards the hut near the cherry tree, she saw the once bright pink tree a blue and red. She looked to the hut to see a trail of blue flames burning Mia, her screams as she burned where unbearable to Tsuki. Tears began to flow down her face as she remembered all the memories she shared with everyone in the village. "TSUKI! RUN AWAY GET OUT OF HERE!" Yelled Mia as she was burning, a figure stood over Mia with blue flames on his fists beating her. Tsuki couldn't move, she suddenly felt like someone was behind her, she turned to see a young man with a skull over half his face and covered in blood and red flames. He yelled to the man in the house that everyone is dead except for Tsuki and Mia. Just as he yelled that Mia fell the the ground as the bright green eyes full of life faded, the burning brown hair finally reached her head and began to burn through her skin. Tsuki realised she had to run, she finally managed to run, she speed into the forest from where she came. She watched the two men fly away leaving the village burning bright red and blue. Tsuki laid in the dirt and cried herself to sleep.

When she woke she walked over to the village where the flames had disappeared, she walked through the once vibrant thriving village to see ashes, burned trees and lifeless bodies trapped under buildings. She walked to the outskirts of the village and began to dig graves, she walked around the village gathering anything left behind by the fire of anyone she could find. She found large rocks and placed on top of each grave and used her knife and a small rock to carve their names into the stones. She later walked into the forest and found flowers, she placed them at the graves, tears began to flow down her face and drop onto the ground. She decided that she will never forgive the people who did this to the only proper home she has ever had. She began to rummage through the houses for stuff she could use as she traveled, she could only find bits of food, seeds and unused minerals. She gathered all of this and walked around until she found the underground entrance to one of the mens weapon making room. She began to craft swords, bows , knives and other weapons.

~The first chapter was a bit boring, i couldn't think of ways to make it  more interesting until the next chapter~
