The Future

Kasai and Yuki soon got married. The world was happier to live in for both Kasai's people and Shin's. They decided on three different classifications of villages, villages where small with not many people living there, town with a lot more people living there and city with a large population of people. Shin was very unhappy with the changes.

Kasai was doing his usual desk work when Yuki came in. She was very happy and excited. "Kasai guess what this country will soon have a prince or princess!" She yelled with joy. Kasai stood up from his seat and ran over to her. He hugged her. Tsuki was her bodyguard and would never leave her under Kasai's orders. Taiyo would help Kasai with formalities and desk work. Kumo was in charge of castle employees and Suta was in charge of the soldiers and guards. "Tsuki i would like to go into town." She told her. Tsuki walked with her to the castle gates. They opened the gates allowing her to pass through. She walked around the town. People would look at her. She looked in the windows of shops. "Mummy its the queen!" A little girl told her mother. Yuki turned around and walked over and pated him on the head. The girl was so happy. The mother thanked her. Yuki just smiled. She looked around at shops for a bit longer. "Tsuki isn't this cute!?" She asked her. Tsuki nodded and smiled. Yuki showed her a small multicoloured blanket. She went over to the man at the desk. She went to buy the blanket. "Your majesty i can take it you don't have to pay!" He told her. She still placed the money on the desk. She left the store and kept looking.

"Hey have you noticed that the queen has been looking at baby stuff?" Someone asked
"I know does this mean she is expecting a baby?" Someone replied. The news of her pregnancy spread fast throughout the kingdom. After a few weeks Kasai had to leave to have a meeting with Shin. Yuki waited back at the castle. She went to see the doctors every few days. Things since beating Yoku had been happy.

Yuki was working with the workers at the palace to design a room for the baby. Kumo and Suta started fighting again in the sparing room. Kumo hit away Suta's sword. "Fighting again really?" Tsuki told them as she walked past on her way to Yuki. Suta ran over to her. "Well Kumo is really tough to beat!" Suta told her. Tsuki laughed. Kumo walked over. "It could be that you are usually use a bow and arrow not a sword!" She told him still laughing. Suta was annoyed at her. He we t back to the where he was before. Kumo waved goodbye to Tsuki as she left. She soon went back to sparing with Suta.

Kasai arrived back to the castle and began doing more work and went to see Yuki. After a few months Yuki was taken to a private room. After a few hours one of the doctors came out holding a newborn baby girl. She took her over to a bucket of water and washed her. Yuki was tierd and looked awful. Kasai walked in and held her hand. She looked at him smiling. She rested for a few days. Kasai was doing his usual desk work when he was told he could go see them. He stopped instantly and went to see them. When he opened the door he saw Yuki holding the newborn. Kasai walked over and looked at her. He put his finger out and touched her tiny hands. Yuki smiled as she watched them. She handed her to him. He looked back at Yuki and smiled happily. He handed her back to Yuki who held her for a bit before handing her to the doctor. She placed her in a small wooden cot. Yuki stood up. Kasai and Yuki went into her room. They soon brought her into the room and put her crib in the centre. Kasai and Yuki looked at her and started to think of a name. "I like Kimiko." Kasai told her. Yuki thought about it fro a bit but she ended up agreeing with him.

Tsuki, Kumo, Suta and Taiyo where told the name of the baby. They soon announced that the kingdom now had a princess named Kimiko. The people cheered. Yuki walked around the town with Kimiko as she went to buy clothes for her. "Is that the new princess she is so tiny." The people told each other as she walked past with Kimiko in her arms. She always asked Tsuki about her opinion of the clothes before buying them. One day Kasai went with her to find more things for her. They found a painter in the street and asked to have a family portrait. The man painted them and handed them the painting. Later on Yuki showed Kasai a pendent she had bought for Kimiko for when she is older. She opened it and asked him to get a small painting of himself inside it next to her portrait. He agreed the pendant had both their faces in it and Yuki held onto it for when Kimiko grew up. Kasai and Yuki went in to see her. The small baby looked directly at them with her glimmering purple eyes. Hair just started to grow on her head. They where both happy to see her growing up healthy and happy.

Yuki and Kasai went to bed as usual. In the middle of the night Yuki woke up to check on Kimiko. When she opened her eyes she saw Kasai on the ground with his head blown off and a man standing there with a staff. She ran out of the room and grabbed Kimiko and fled from the castle.
