Normal Pov *

You have trained hard for the day you were waiting for. Your Regalias are all well trained and is ready for anything.

After a while, you gave your Regalias a break and on top of it Yato and Yukine were coming to visit. You had prepared a lunch for them cause you had cooked yourself silly.

You were sitting outside your shrine waiting for Yato and Yukine to come. You see Yato and Yukine come after a while. Yato says " Hey (M/n)" you sigh and get up. You say " hi Yato and Yukine " as you lead them inside.

You all sit down to eat. After a while, you guys finished eat. You get up to go to the office. You sit down at your desk.

(M/n)'s Pov *

I pour myself a glass of champagne. I take a sip of it when there is a knock on my door. I say " Come in " as the door opens, it was my Regalias with Yato and Yukine. Tomoe ask " (M/n) is it okay If we all took a walk?" I say " it's fine as long as you keep each other safe." He nods. I nod back as they leave. Yato stays by me.

I noticed that his cheeks were turning red as he sat in front of me. I lean on my desk and say " Yato why are your cheeks red?" Yato looks at me and says " really? " I nod at him. He pulls his scarf over his cheeks.

He says something but I can't quite make out what he was trying to say. I chuckle and say " I don't know what you are saying Yato, take the scarf away from your mouth." He shook his head and looks away as he continues to mumble something.

I chuckle and get up and say" Yato you know I can't understand what you are talking about? " I walk to him and bend down as I slowly take the scarf away from his mouth. He looks up at me. I say " what did you say?" I stand up straight with folded arms. He gets up and stands in front of me. He says " I want to tell you something that I......" I look away and cut him off by saying " our Regalias are in trouble....let's go" Yato sighs and says " yes let's go."

Yato and I rush out to go find them. I saw that they were cornered by phantoms. I look at Yato and nod at him. Yato says " Come Sekki! " Yukine transforms. I shout " Come My Ketsueki! " and (F/n) transforms into the katakana.

Yato and I attack the phantoms. We both kill the very last one. I say " Tomoe and Byakuya what happened? " Tomoe was about to speak when a voice says " I had to attack your Regalias so that I could get you to come save them. " I look around for where the voice was coming from.

I say " Come out and show your face " the person appears out of the shadows and riding on a phantom. I look at him. He had midnight black hair and he had sliver eyes. He looked very pale.
He smirks and says " hello (M/n) long time no see. I see you have changed over the past few years. " I say " who are you? " He chuckle and says " you have forgotten me...You know exactly who I am." I say " I don't know you but how do you know me ?" He chuckle and then his smile disappeared. He says " I can't believe you have forgotten about me and I was the one who always was there for you but now that I died, you don't remember me." Yato says " (M/n) who is this? " I say " I have no idea but he seems to know a lot about me."

He smirks and says " you will regret that day you met me...cause now I will have to make you remember and feel how I feel now." With that, he disappears. I look at Yato and walk away with Tomoe and Byakuya. I get back to my shrine. I say" (F/n)" and she transforms back. I walk to my office. I sit down and think about what he said.

I kept playing his voice over and over again in my head. I was also puzzled at the fact that he knew me and I didn't know who he was. I take the bottle of champagne and drink it down without stopping.

I place the empty bottle down. I wasn't drunk cause I knew how to hold my liquor down. I hear a knock on my door. I growl in annoyance cause I wanted to be left alone. " (M/n) are you okay? it's me Yato." I sigh and sit down in my chair and say" Come in "

He enters and looks at me as I sat looking out the window.

Yato's Pov *

I see (M/n) has a lot on his mind after what happened. I go sit down and by his desk. He asked me " what do you need Yato cause I'm not in the mood to talk now." I sigh as I say" (M/n) I'm not here to talk. I'm just here as a friend that is worried about you."

(M/n)'s Pov *

I look at Yato and nod. I say " thanks Yato and sorry that I'm not in a good mood after today." Yato says " it's okay (M/n) I know how you feel" I start to smile and say " oh Yato you were going to tell me something before we had go save our Regalias asses." Yato looks at me and then away and say" yeah it wasn't that important and I actually forgot about it so you don't need to stress (M/n)." He makes his funny smile. I just had to chuckle.

I say " okay Yato if you say so." I offer him a glass of wine and we chat for hours.

Yato's Pov *

'I was glad (M/n) was smiling again but I want to tell him how I felt about him...but that can wait cause he has a lot on his mind so I won't tell him.' I thought to myself.

(M/n)'s Pov *

'I don't think Yato has forgotten what he wanted to tell me even tho he is acting like he did but I can tell by the way he is acting around me. I wonder why he is acting like this?' I think to myself.
