*Blakes pov*
I waited later that day by the local grocery store. Waiting for the girl with hair the color of happiness and spring, and eyes full of light and laughter. My eyes scanned the crowd so much grey, and than off in the distance I saw her. Eyes twinkling and smile wide as she laughed with her friends, her hair swung behind her bright and full of warmth. I waited till she was closer and went to approach her, her smile infectious and as I took that first step forward Something about this mysterious girl, neither black or white or any shade of grey my heart pounding as I approached her, and she caught my eye...
*Amber's Pov*
My eye's scanned the crowd searching for the boy with light for eyes, not really paying any attention at all to what Rebecca was saying, when I caught his eyes, I drowned in them, they reminded me of an ocean deep and curious, and his hair dark and mysterious but not quite black, and he was walking my way! I kept walking towards him, needing to know this strangers name...
*Blake's Pov*
I caught her eye and her face lit up, her cheeks filled with what I felt when I was angry, but she didn't look mad, she looked excited to see me! she picked up the pace and walked towards me, looking into my eyes she stared and we didn't say anything for quite some time. We stared into each other's eyes. The breathtaking sight that was her eyes when at last she spoke.
"Well, I'm Amber, and you are?"
I gasped her voice was like honey, smooth, sweet.
"I'm, Well, I'm Blake. Pleasure to make your acquaintance"
She laughed, her laugh infectious, her smile slightly crooked and her lips perfect hearts that were starting to fill with some kind of color not like anything I'd ever seen before. She saw me staring and asked if I saw it too.
"What do you mean do I see it too?"
"The color, the color's we've never seen before, like light and sunshine, anger, and sadness, like happiness"
I couldn't help but chuckle, "Why yes my dear, I see it too"
She laughed again, staring at me in wonder as her friend's approached, as gray and bland as the rest of the people on the street.
"Amber, you can't just RUN OFF? WE WERE WORRIED!" she begins to shout than notices me. "Well who's your friend" she purrs into my ear, rubbing her body all over me in a vain attempt to seem more attractive.
I shrugged her off, "I am Blake." I stated simply, there was no reason to engage in conversation with her, the one I wanted after only knowing her for a few minutes was Amber.
There was a bang in the distance and I watched everyone around us scatter, Amber with wild eyes getting dragged away with the crowd and me in the opposite direction.
