Friday

"Mummy, what's this?!" Amalia to her mother waving a wrench in the air.

"Lia, put that down!" Rebekah scolded. "What have I told you about being in the garage?"

"Don't touch anything." Amalia muttered as she placed the wrench back.

"Exactly." Rebekah nodded. Amalia, completely forgetting her mothers words a minute ago ran up to the car and began scan it intently. Rebekah sighed and followed her inquisitive daughter. Despite the fact that she had been to nearly every race since she could walk, she still found new things to explore.

"Is she being a handful?" Mitch asked from beside Rebekah.

"She's being trouble." Rebekah told him.

"Would you like me to keep her occupied?"

"Yes please." Rebekah nodded.

"Hey Lia." Mitch greeted cheerfully.

"Hi Mitch." Lia grinned back.

"Do you want to help me clean your daddy's car?" Amalia glanced at her mum, pleading with her eyes. Rebekah nodded and Lia squealed happily.

"Yes please." She told Mitch. Rebekah was so engrossed in watching her daughter that she didn't notice Sebastian creep up behind her.

"Hi." He greeted, placing his hands on her waist.

"Hi." Rebekah replied as she spun around to face him.

"I'm going to miss the Red Bull garage." He pouted as he scanned it. He had recently signed a four year contract with Ferrari and was moving at the end of the season. He had been with Red Bull for 9 years so it was a big decision for him.

"I know."

"But I think Lia will miss it more." Sebastian chuckled as he eyed his daughter polishing his car intently.

"I think she'll find new places to explore at Ferrari."

"True."

Saturday

"Hey Reb." Sergio Perez greeted as Rebekah wandered round the paddock with Amalia, who wanted to explore.

"Hey Checo." Rebekah smiled. The pair had become good friends during race weekends and Rebekah really enjoyed his company between sessions.

"Cheeco." Amalia greeted.

"Hey little Lia." He grinned down at the four year old.

"I'm not little!" Amalia protested.

"No you're right." Sergio apologised." Sorry big Lia." Amalia grinned at this before skipping off down the paddock.

"I can't believe you let her get away with calling you Cheeco." Rebekah laughed as they followed on after her.

"She's the only person so don't get any ideas." He warned Rebekah. Rebekah laughed at this but quickly stopped when she saw Amalia butting in on Kimi Raikkonen's interview.

"Oh my God!" She muttered. She ran up to the interview intending to drag her away but she found that they were actually talking to her. Kimi picked her up and balanced her on his hip. Rebekah smiled at this. Amalia loved Kimi and Rebekah was pretty sure that the feeling was mutual. She decided she would sneakily listen in.

"Hello? And who do we have here?" The interviewer asked.

"I'm Amalia." She announced to the man.
