Great Things Dont Always Last Forever

I'm sorry but this is gonna be very short seeing as I have the EOG's coming up and I don't have a lot of time for long chapter I'm really sorry ill try and update as much I can before tomorrow and btw it took a lot to write this chapter without breaking down

Harry's POV

I watched in horror as Kadee fell to the ground clutching her stomach and Niall rushed to her side and picked her up yelling that we have to get her to the hospital fast as I recovered from my shocked statement and hurried grabbing the keys off the kitchen counter and rushing out the door as Niall layer Kadee in the back seat as we drove to the hospital Niall hyperventilating and me with a worried expression written across my face as I wondered what was going on ' I know she's about to have the baby but she shouldn't have fainted ' but my thoughts were interrupted when Niall picked Kadee up and ran Ito the hospital me not far behind when we reached the desk Niall started to yell at the lady about our problem and that Kadee was probably soon going into labor as I paced back and forth breathing heavily and stopped when Niall grabbed my wrist and grabbed me off to the operation room as the doctor said they were gonna have to do surgery on her since she's unconscious and left the room saying he was coming back with surgeons as I just stared at Kadee's unconscious body In aw this is really happening she's about to have the baby and then my world went dark

Niall's POV

I watched as Harry fell to the ground his eyes rolling back as I thought he must have fainted from the stress as I woke him up and he asked what happened as I told him he passed out from stress and he just nodded as the doctor walking in the room saying that the operation was about to start and then he said the thing that made Harry flinch he said that only the father can stay during the operation as Harry nodded and the operation started and then the worst began as the doctor said the baby was out and that Kadee should wake up in a few seconds as her eyes fluttered open and said where am I I told her what happened and her eyes widened and she starting screaming where's her baby as the doctor explained since the baby was premature that it was very weak and that it had been taken out but that Kadee could hold it and he handed her the baby making sure she was holding it the right way before he let go and looked into the baby eyes and started smiling as a tear slipped out her eye and then she frowned when the baby stopped crying and it's eyes shut and she told the doctor and he started to panic telling people to put an air mask on the baby and when they finally got it on but the babies breathing DIDNT change and the doctor turned to us with a very sad look on his face and then he explained as I broke down that my baby was gonna die and that it only had two minutes left as I finally regained myself and picked the baby up in my arms and cradled her close to my chest and looked down at those hazel eyes and sniffled she's so beautiful even though Im only gonna know her for two minutes I'm gonna miss her so much and Kadee beckoned me over to her as I sat on the hospital bed baby still in my arms even though she's only got one minute left I had an idea

" lets name her " I said and Kadee nodded as I kissed the tear from the side of her cheek and we talked about names and no thoughts came to mind when suddenly one popped in my mind

" lets name her Serenity " I said and looked at Kadee as she smiled and she gently took the baby from my hand and kissed her cheek

" I love you serenity " she said and then she turned to me and she smiled and put her hand on my cheek and leaned in and kissed me as my mind went blank and a put my hand over hers and she pulled away grasping my hand and spoke

" and I love you too Niall " she said as a tear slipped from my eyes as I held the baby with her and smiled as Kadee leaned on my shoulder and the corners of the babies mouth turned up in a weak smile and we sat in silence memorizing these few seconds we had left knowing that we had only a little while until the babies eyes closed and she was gone forever but to still remain in our memories and then it happened as the babies eyes closed and her breathing stopped as Kadee broke down in my shoulder and knowing I would have to stay strong for her I shushed her whispering soothing words into her ear as she held the weightless baby in her arms as I left the room wanting her to have a moment alone with the baby also knowing I would have to tell Harry the dreadful news as I grabbed my phone from my posted and failed at holding back the tears as the phone was answered and I listened as Harry broke down

Harry's POV

I sat in the parking lot since the waiting room was filled waiting for Niall to call me to tell me I was allowed to come in and see the baby and I was really jittery looking at my phone every five minutes and when it finally rang I picked it up at lighting speed smile in my face growing wider as Niall explained what happened as his words would sometimes get interrupted by his sobs as I broke down and dropped the phone and put my face in my hand as I started to cry knowing that I was to late to see the beautiful baby; I'm always gonna be to late
