Not long after we finished the Bloody Mary case, we were on our way to Rockford, Illinois. After Sam and Dean received a tip from John to checkout Roosevelt Asylum, the locals say it's haunted.
*2 days before*
We stopped at a motel to get some rest. Sam was trying to wake his brother up "Dean, wake up your phone been ringing for 20 mins now"
"Sam, let the poor guy sleep" I said in a sympathy tone.
"Yeah, when you drive for 6 hours straight you'll wanna sleep to, so shut up!" Dean said angrily
Deans phone kept going off for another 20 mins so I decided to answer it for him. "This is Dean Winchesters phone."
"Raven?! Your with Sam and Dean?" A strange but familiar voice said.
"Yeah. Who's this and how do you know my name?"
"Does not matter. Just tell Sam and Dean to head to Rockford, Illinois. They'll find out why when they get there. I'll see you all soon. Raven stay with the boys" the voice said scruffily .
When I hung up the phone I was half shocked and a little worried. I must have spaced off for a while because I hear Sam "Raven! Are you okay?"
I blankly stare into space. "What... Yeah I'm fine Sam".
"Who was that on the phone?"
Dean looked at Sam "Dad. It's was dad, Sam. What did he say?"
"He gave us a case in Rockford, Illinois." I told Dean
With that we were all packed up, loading up the cars and on our way to Illinois.
*Present*
We are about 5 miles out of town. The ride was mostly quiet, except for my occasional singing and the calls from Dean making sure I'm keeping up. On the wide open road he never hesitates to try and get me to race him.
I've never given in.... Until this last time. I had my stereo blaring Eye of the Tiger by Survivor and I decided why not race Dean and the impala. I lost of course.
A/N
So this last chapter is sort of a filler I guess. Ive been hitting a lot of writers blocks. I'm doing my best to keep it interesting and updating as soon as I'm able. If anyone has some ideas or suggestions that would help, don't hesitate to comment. Thanks again to everyone who is dealing with me and that is keeping up with the story.
