Loving a Winchester

Chapter 11

John had a faint smile on his face "Hello Raven. Nice to see you again. I see you like the car."

"Wait your the one that saved me months ago and you left me with an alias!" I shouted

I could tell John could not help but laugh quietly "I'm sorry, but I knew you would run into these two at one point. I figured you were clever and would pick them out"

"So what your saying is that you set us up to meet her." Dean said

He looked at Sam and Dean "I know you boys better then what you think. Then he turns and looks at Sam... "I'm sorry to hear about Jessica"

That's when the pit in my stomach came back. I left the room so the boys could have some alone time with their father. I am glad they found their dad, now there's mine. I heard footsteps running behind me.

I could tell it was Sam. "Raven wait up! Are you okay? you looked spooked back there."

I was disappointed and wanted to find my dad "I'm fine Sammy. Thanks"

"You don't have to le to me. But if you don't want to tell me, you don't have to." That's what I liked about Sam he did not push a subject if he could tell you did not want to talk about it.

I decided to tell him anyway. "Okay here it is. I thought when you found your dad I was going to find mine or at least know he's alive." That's when I heard footsteps behind me.

It was John "Your dad is looking for the same creature I am. I met up with him a couple of months back in Ohio, and worked our leads together."

That's the first good thing I've heard about my dad in months "So he was alive when you saw him last. Does he need help? Do you know where he'll be?" was all I was able to get out.

"Sorry Raven I don't. Wish I had more for you."

Sam and Dean just looked at me with sorrow in their eyes "Its okay guys. Really, at least I now he's alive. That's better then nothing." There was a long silence..... They all left to head back to the other room. I started thinking about leaving Sam and Dean to try and pick up my dads trail. Would they care? I mean I am just another person they met. Then I hear the sound of wings behind me.

I was surprised to see him. Its been forever. "Cas, what are you doing here?'

He had a smirk on his face. "I have something for you..... Its from your father."

"MY FATHER!" How did you find him?" I said shocked

" I didn't find him. He prayed for answers and I picked up the call."

"What does he know? Does he know about me? Does he need help? Did he find the demon?" I asked all at once.

"He knows and that's why I'm guessing he gave me this...." Cas handed me an envelope with my name on the outside. It was in my dads handwriting to, I can tell.

Raven, If your reading this then the angel did his job. I'm alive and closing in on the demon. I do not need help at the moment. I've been keeping tabs on you and the Winchester brothers. Good job on the Bloody Mary case, I'm proud of you. You are growing into an amazing young lady and a skillful hunter. I don't know if you know this yet but I met up with John, he has my number if you want it. Don't come looking for me, its not safe. I will find you when the time is right, until then stay with Sam and Dean and keep doing what your doing. Stay safe. -Your Father

Why didn't john tell me he had my dads number. I did not want to waste anymore time, I stormed over to the boys room and banged on the door. "Its open." I walked in the room and saw Sam was sitting at the table on his laptop.

"Where is Dean and John?" I asked Sam

"They went on a supply run. My dad and I are not getting along. He's still mad that I left for Stanford all those years ago." Sam explained

"Okay. Mind if I wait for them to come back with you?" I asked

"Not at all. You alright? You seem really angry." Sam said concerned

" I'm not angry, just shocked and confused. Cas stopped by and gave me this....." I handed Sam the letter to read.

He had the same look on his face as I did mine. "Raven that's amazing, you now know he's alive. You don't seem as excited as you should be... why?"

"He told me not to follow him and to stay with you guys. Oh and Johns had his number and did not tell me. Is it okay if I stay with you guys for awhile?" I told Sam.

"OF course its okay. We are a good team." he said with that smile of his.

At that moment Dean and John walked through the door.

"Who's a good team Sammy?" Dean said

"Take a look at this Dean." Sam handed Dean the letter I got.

I walked up to John "When were you going to tell me you had a way for me to contact my dad!"

"If you want it Raven I'll give it to you. But ask Sam and Dean not every time you call your not guaranteed an answer." He told me.

Sam and Dean just looked at me and shook their heads. "I don't care I want a way to talk to him when he does answer." I yelled

John did not bother to fight back. "Okay, but don't get hung up when you don't get a response. Ready? 147-555-1835"

"I got it. Thanks."

It took me awhile after that to work up the courage to hit that call button. It rang 5 times before I heard a males voice on the other line. "Hello...."
