The first encounter

Chapter 1:

Kailee's P.O.V:

I feel how I awake slowly. A light beam warms up my face and I open my eyes. I look at the clock beside me, it's 6:30 AM. I look at the curtains and almost have a heart attack. I bent over to it and open them. I see how the sun rises up from the skyline and how our whole village turns orange. I close my eyes for a second and enjoy the warmth on my skin, then I open them again. I can't believe it. Has it been 365 days? It feels so much longer, as if the sun is something that I used to know, something from another life. But it's here now, finally...Suddenly my heart starts beating, 365 days.. that means today is the day, the day we will know everything. Everything that we've been looking for the past year. Today it'll finally stop. But I am not ready yet, IT will destroy everything, I am sure....

Here's our journey, if your'e interested read it. But I'll warn you, If I had been given the choice, I'd said no. But I didn't get a choice, I just got involved, quietly without warning. 365 days to go...

Chelsea's P.O.V:

It's september 1st. The end of summer is near, you can feel it everywhere. Everything is changing. Fall is coming slowly, but different than usual. More threathning than normal. But summer has been fantastic. Me and the girls have been on holiday together, it was great, we had so much fun. School starts in two weeks. And nobody is looking forward to it. So let's enjoy our last weeks.

I am on my way to Melissa, we're going to have a swim with the five of us. Hopefully not the last one of this season. I stop next to a car and look into the window, I brush trough my long wavy brown hair with my fingers. It looks still alright, let's go!

Melissa's P.O.V:

I look trough the window of my room. At our giantic garden, it's huge, with a pool and even includes a tennis courd, but it's not as huge as our house. A big white building with millions of windows, and balcony's. I see the reflection of myself in the window. I look gorgous I have to admit it. My blonde curls fall over my shoulders and the golden colour of my eyeshadow totally matches my big blue eyes. I smile proudly before I see how the gate opens. Lily and Caroline enter the garden. I walk downstairs to greet them.

'Hi Melisa!' Lily shouts. 'You look gorgeous today'. I smile again. 'Thank you love, you look amazing too'. What badingsuit do you wear? I want us to match'.

I can tell Kailee rolls her eyes, she always does. She's kind of the smart one out of us. She's very pretty, with her straight brown hair, and her light green eyes. But she never realises it, she's only busy with being smart and studying. Is it too much to ask for matching badingsuits?

'My badingsuit is baby-yellow, with little ties on it'. Lily smiles cutely, she's really cute actually. 'That's great, mine is a light pink, matches perfectly!' 'And what are you wearing Kailee?'

Kailee rolls with her eyes irritated. 'My pink floral badingsuit from forever21. You could've known, it's my favourite. Where're the others?'

She switches subject. Fine, whatever she wants.

On that moment the gate opens en Chelsea walks into the garden. 'Hi Chels!'. Lily walks over to her and hugs her. That's something what Lily always does. She's the one who keeps us from fighting sometimes. Bless her.

I look at Chelsea. She has long thick wavy brown hair that every girls wants. And greenish eyes. Dark bold brows and a cute smile. Out of us all, Chelsea is my best friend. We share things the others don't know about. She would do everything for me, and that's a good feeling.
