Isotopia has always been on top when it comes to science. In the most recent studies the head officials proposed using Uranium-235 as an alternative energy source because of it's long half life. Lumen's father was the mayor and her mother head of the operation. Lumen had a robot dog named Tesla, her long silver tail wagged whenever her ears were pet. Lumen was a tall, brunette, her waist length hair flowed like a chocolate river. Her doll eyes were a deep brown. Lumen enjoyed hearing about all of the latest work on an alternative energy source. She was sure Isotopia was going to be the most well known city for its contribution to society. Her father said that they were edging close to a huge discovery.
Lumen's father used to have a friend named Dai Gress but one of his experiments went wrong. Since then, he has been a nervous wreck and against all science. No one knows why he hasn't left Isotopia. He and his wife Eve Entropy split after he went mad. Her kids, Quark and John Entropy, are very into science. Eve works along side Lumen's mother. Quark, John, and Lumen had been around each other for as long as they could remember.
***If you have any questions on meanings or pronunciations don't hesitate to ask! I got this idea from my science classes. I will try to be scientifically accurate with a lot of things but obviously this is science FICTION, so it isn't going to be real life stuff. Some of it will be related to theories from my classes.***
Side note: The half-life of Uranium-235 is 704 years.
