Whispers

Whispers of the summer's secrets,
Fight the frost of the winter's cold.
The gentle whispers the falling leaves bring,
Sing of the beauty of the graceful spring.
The whispers of the broken girl,
Guides her to the ocean's depth.
The whispers make her ask once more,
She cries out, "Ocean, why leave the shore?"

Cast into a land of gray,
Ocean, save me before I lay.
Broken beauty of the stars,
Ocean, fade the painful scars.
Forlorn beauty, once divine,
Ocean, take me to what was once mine.
Eyes once silver fade to gray,
Ocean, to my love, carry me away.

The whispers start to sing once more,
The ocean brought her a soundless snore.
As she sank into the ocean's depth,
The tide carried her to where her love slept.
