Chapter 10

Eden's POV: "No Eden." The cheer captain, Sophia said. "You're not flipping the right way. It's right, not left." She rolled her eyes at me. Once again I flipped, "Uhh can't you do anything right?" She asked me, in an annoyed tone. She then flipped over and said, "See? That's a proper back bend." And with that she walked away, to go yell at another new cheerleader. I glanced over at Windsor who was silently imitating a sophomore cheerleader who was showing her a proper split. The older girls were so mean to the new cheerleaders. I thought being a pop would be fun, but so far, the pops were jerks. I laughed a little at my crazy best friend, when the girl totally spazed out. "What are you laughing at Brookes?" She yelled as she flipped her bleached blonde curls off of her shoulder. She was Sophia's best friend, Amber and she was a witch. Like if I poured water on her I'm pretty sure she would melt. I just shook my head at her. After practice I met Windsor at her locker.

"What's up?" I asked her. "Going to the diner with Jus. You?" She smiled. "Nothing. I finished all my homework, and I'm free for the day." I told her. "So I'm guessing you want me too invite you took come with us?" She laughed. "Well if you insist!" I smacked her arm.

Michael's POV: "Where are the girls?" I asked Justin as we waited outside of the school. "Mike I already told you, I don't think Eden's gonna come." "Dude, when do you not see them together? They even use the bathroom together." As I explained, the school doors opened. Eden and Winds walked out on their phones, wearing different clothes. "What took you so long?" Justin asked jokingly. "Well we couldn't eat in our practice clothes." Windsor said in an 'uh duh' tone. We stated to walk and Justin joined Windsor leaving me and Eden behind them. I wondered if she was thinking about our kiss. She must of saw me looking at her, cause she frowned at me. "What?""Nothing." I told her. "So how's uhm, life? "I was trying to make conversation. "Good. What about you?" She smiled at me. "Really good." I smiled back but slightly frowned when I watched Justin take Windsors hand. 'Maybe I should take Eden's hand.' I thought. I held out my hand, hoping she would look down an notice but she looked pretty occupied by her thoughts.

I slid into our booth next too Eden, and frowned again when Justin took Windsors hand again. I slid my hand onto Eden's lap, searching for her hand, when she gasped. "What are you doing?" She asked. "I uhm dropped my quarter." I lied. She just pushed my hand off of her lap, and frowned at something across the diner. A guy with this other girl. Ariana. But that guy wasn't Mark. Marks hair was dark but not black. Eden typed something on her phone an Windsor looked at her own. She turned and looked at Ariana and that guy, then turned back to her phone. Eden just sighed when she read the message. Did she like that guy?

Eden ate her burger quietly and barely talked to me the whole time. Suddenly the guy got up and walked towards the bathroom, which was behind our booth. He stopped when he saw Eden, and walked to our booth. "Hey Eden!" She looked up and smiled, like way bigger then when she smiled at me. "Hey Logan!" "What are you doing here?" He asked, glancing at me. "Just eating with friends." She told him, putting her head on her hands, which where propped up, on the table. She called me her friend. Harsh. "Cool." He looked back at Ari, who was texting, probably oblivious of Logan being over here. "Me and Ariana have been here for a couple hours, coming up with an article for our sports column on the news paper." Wow. Was he trying to impress her with the newspaper? Nerd. "Well you guys look busy." He said. I nodded at him. "So I'll talk to you tomorrow, ok?" She nodded and fluttered her eye lashes. Oh no. There was no way he was stealing my girl. I decided I would write another note tonight. To get her back.

~So this chap was kinda long. I just wanted Logan and Mike to finally meet. So I wanted to do it this way. So should Eden date Logan? And make Mike jealous, or should Ari date him, while Mark and her our on a break. And yes. They are taking a break, so basically a break up. Sorry for all you Mariana fans!!
