This isn't Right

"Sorry what was your name again?" I asked
"Matthew, you can call me Matt if you want," he answered
"Right, Matt, nice name," I grinned
"So where do you wanna do the project?"
"The project is about an art piece, so probably an art museum,"
"Yeah, Right,"
"When exactly?"
"Whenever you want, "
"Okay, I'll just tell you by tomorrow" I grinned as I ended the conversation. Matt sounds like a nice guy, looks really cute too, and Oh my Gosh! I like him, I shouldn't  feel this way.

5:30 pm, I'm in my room looking at my letter wall. As I observe it I remember every moment of the 17 years I had with Jack, this isn't what I'm supposed to feel anymore, I'm supposed to feel better but I feel worse than it was before.

The next day

I walk to school and find Stella talking to John. Oh how I wonder what there talking about. I walk up to them and greet Stella as I ignore John. "Hi Alex!" Stella greeted "Alex?" I questioned "so what're you guys talking about?" I asked again "you,"
"Jerks,"
"no we aren't not,"
"So who's your partner for the project?" she asked
"Matthew Carlton,"
"Stay away from him after the project" John stated
"Why do you care?" I asked him
"He's big trouble" Stella said
"What do you mean? he sounds really nice,"
"You guys are wrong and I'll prove it." I said walking away
This isn't right, I know he's a good guy and I need to prove it, they are wrong I'm sure they are.
