Chapter 1: The Disaster

The Great Descent... The most darkest times in the history of Einelf, but it was also the time when the world found the most important source of energy that has been used till this day...

Magi Kruciun, or more commonly known as "Magic".

During The Great Descent, animals started to attack humans though some did not, they mostly attacked during the night. There are animals who remained peaceful due to their nature but still somehow threaten the humans.

Magic was one of the most greatest discoveries however only some people have the power to actually control it, today we can use magic through artificial means like alchemy, people who wield magic are considered royalty and usually get the highest place in civilization.

War was an often occurrence during those times due to the people who wield magic, people debated on who will lead the others.

But those problems have been sorted out through time, so let's not stay in the past and let's stick with the present.

Right now.

First, let's start off with a summary of what is to expect here.

This is a story about a girl, that had lost everything. Meeting another girl that has everything.

Together they will go through thick and thin, laughs will be heard, sacrifices will be made, tears will be shed, and blood will fall.

It is hard to see the light in a dark, grey mist.

-----Chapter 1: The Disaster-----

In the capital of Euphenia, Mhark, the royal palace has grown very busy for the princesses' royal visits to business companies and schools for their grand speeches to inspire the masses.

The princesses have been going through their lines for hours whilst thinking of the inspiring quotes for the people to hear.

Except for one particular princess...

"I, Princess Lilian la Florason, declares that the academy of Ceres is now blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Something about having the students bringing the school pride-"

"Princess, please take this a lot more seriously." One of the maids scolded the princess.

"I am, Alicia. I already memorized this a two years ago. Why do we even have do these types of things? I mean, why do we have to be part of an entrance ceremony for a school, EVERY year?" The princess asked as she flopped on her bed.

"As I told you before, it has been a tradition for decades. Now get ready, you have big day ahead of you." The maid said as she handed the princess her usual pink lace gown.

The princess snatched it from her hands and slightly pouted.

She wore her dress and white gloves then looked at herself in the mirror. She has bright blue eyes that goes well with her blonde hair and fair complexion, rosy cheeks, pink lips, and a cute button nose.

She combed her hair before being called by her maid.

"Your highness, it's time to leave."

"Coming!" She got up and walked out of her room, they got out of the castle and walked down the stairs to the limousine that was parked in front of them.

They got to the limo where the driver was waiting for them.

"Where are Roe, Lip, and Dais?" The princess asked her maid.
