TARA'S POV:

"STOP",I yelled,aadi freezed.

Shock and pain were evident on his face. His eyes became moist as he attempted to hide his grief, then overcome by the wave of his emotions ,he broke down entirely, all his defenses washed away. When he at last turned his face to me, he was a picture of grief, loss, devastation.

He trusted me with his vulnerability, A single tear slid down his eyes.He looked at me with that disappointed face . I felt a stinging in my eyes and my throat started to tighten. I opened my mouth to speak, as tears welled in my eyes. I fought with everything i had to keep them from falling, but when he shook his head and turned away from me i couldn't control it. Warm tears rapidly streamed down my face and i started to whimper.

"No aadi please dont hurt yourself,Its not you aadi,It's me,I just wanted to confess something to you before you marry me".

Then he turned his face to my side,Hope was evident in his eyes.

"Aadi you might be thinking,I am marrying you because I gave you a second chance or may be I love you,But its not true aadi.I am doing this for my reasons,my own selfish reasons,When you get to know those reasons,You will leave me,You will hate me.....I was so guilty,I wanted to confess to you so that you will not have expectations such as I love you or I trust you",I sobbed.

"Actually the reason is.....",I was about to say him,But he held his hand signalling stop.

"I dont want to know anything angel,I trust you,And coming to your selfish reasons,I give you my permission to be as selfish you want to be,Do anything you like,Take away anything you want from me,but please never leave your hold on my hand,Whatever might b the situation,Please stay with me,Please",he said.

With one rough hand under my chin, he angled my face toward him and kissed away my tears. I looked at him hesitating , I could not understand what was the expression on his face.

"Aadi If you want,You can leave,you know?"

He smiled at me,"No angel,You have got me right where I want to(he said pointing to the magalsutra),And you also know that i cant walk away".

"And my angel , I can't leave because of you!".

"I don't know what you mean aadi!!"

He tugged me close to him,"Yes angel,you do understand!Surely you can see it".

"See what?",I was puzzled.

"This",He said,His fingers lifted my chin up,"This angel,MY LOVE ,MY CARE,MY POSSESIVENESS, for YOU in my eyes".

"And you know my angel,The person who really likes you doesn't go away from you. They would somewhere somehow be living with you by thinking of you. After we get married,One day You may love me,You may miss me. You may ignore me. You may even forget me but any moment, if you want to see me, don't search any where just watch your shadow I will be there".

His words made my heart clench,I want to hug him and never let him go anywhere!I felt something wet on my hand,I realised they were my own tears.

He suddenly pulled me to him,wiped my tears,Kissed me,Kissed me long enough to know that he was in too deep love.

We pulled away with the preist's cough and my best friend chuckles."Can we continue the marraige?",The preist asked.

Aadi looked at me,I inturn nodded shyly,With that he tied the holy thread in my neck,Bonding us together for life.He kissed my forhead and said "I will love you forever and always angel".
