"You gon' sit there and pout or we can talk about what happened." Michael said as we sat in the booth at Applebee's.

I sighed heavily playing with the straw to my soda. "There's nothing to talk about."

He looked at me sideways and I caught the hint. " Okay fine." I leaned back in the booth. "That night you picked me up I had just left his house after I found out he cheated."

"And?" Michael pressed.

"And we broke up, he showed up over my house a week later, now here we are."

"What happened to your son?" I felt mouth go dry and my eyes blurted with tears.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay we don't have to talk about it but soon or later you're gonna have to trust me enough to tell me what happened."

I rolled my eyes. It's wasn't like he was gonna understand anyways that night I lost my son was something I would never forget. It wasn't that I didn't trust Michael but I haven't spoken about that situation since I buried Elijah.

"I will when the time is right but for right now can we just eat." I smiled.

He nodded his head then the waitress came over and took our order. We ate and talked a little then Michael insisted he pay the bill after we argued about for the last twenty minutes. We walked to his car and he held the passenger door open and I slid in.

"When are you gonna let me drive your car?" I asked Michael once he had settled into the driver side. He let a loud laugh and not one of those laughs where you stop and stare at the person like their crazy but this fool was in tears. I'm talking double over holding his stomach type laugh while I sat there serious as a heart attack.

"I'm not kidding." I told him once his laughter died down.

He wiped a stray tear then faced me. "I'll be damned if I let you drive my car."

I pouted in my seat with my arms crossed. "Will if you don't mind me asking." I started "This is very nice car and all but I've never heard you talk about a job." I raised my eyebrow as I looked at him stare straight towards the road.

"You remember when you said at the restaurant you would tell me about your son when the time was right?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Well I'll tell you about it When the time is right." He smirked then looked at me as we came to a stop light.

"Whatever." I mumbled looking out of the window.

We pulled up to a park then cut the engine off. "What are we doing here?" Michael laughed.

"You ask a lot of questions." he licked his lips. Something he had a habit of doing which I wasn't complaining about because he looked sexy as hell as he did it.

"Naturally inquisitive I guess." I smiled wrinkling my nose.

"Hardy har har." He chuckled. "I got some people I want you to meet." Michael said getting out of the car.

I followed suit like a lost puppy as we a approached a group people sitting on a picnic table. There was 3 guys and 2 girls sitting around laughing and smoking. I recognized one the guys as none other then Chris.

"Wassgood Ty!" the same short Asian chick I see around school yelled after taking the blunt from her lips.

Michael dapped everyone up then stood next to me and smiled. It seemed like everyone had all eyes on or maybe I was just being paranoid.
