You Don't Understand

Chapter 5: Truth

"Oh my..." Levy trailed off. "She isn't talking! We need to call a hospital!" Levy yelled as tears began to fill her eyes.

"Levy, calm down," Gajeel instructed.

"O-okay," Levy breathed.

"She's going to be okay. Juvia's a strong person," Gajeel comforted Levy.

"Gray..." a voice croaked out. Suddenly everyone stopped what they were doing. "B-bora..." Juvia began as her trembling became more severe. "N-no...no...NO!" Juvia screamed out causing some of the girls to jump a bit. "S-stop it, they aren't part of this. He isn't part of this Bora. Leave them alone," Juvia mumbled in her small hallucination.

"G-gray. Whats going on?" Lucy asked shaking at the sight of her friends condition.

"I knew I should of stayed behind," Gray growled as he clenched his hands and grit his teeth.

"What are you talking about Gray?" Erza demanded. They needed any information they could get on what was going on.

"Yesterday when I dropped Juvia off her boyfriend was here and he was pissed at Juvia or something. She was staring at him in fear like eh was about to hit her or something. I think we all know that all those bruises Juvia gets are from him right?" Gray asked.

"Yeah. This just proves it. Even if we don't have any real evidence it was him who else would be in here?" Lucy commented.

"Go away!" She screamed as she held her head an clenched her eyes shut tears spilling out. She then began to flinch as though some invisible force was hitting her. At those actions all the boys clenched their fists and grit their teeth. It really pained them all to see Juvia like this.

"Okay we have to wake her up!" Gajeel yelled as he stared down at her in agony. Gajeel and Juvia were like siblings so there was no way that he could bare to see her like this.

"I'm going to grab a cup of cold water," Gray shouted as he ran to the kitchen. Frantically his hands flew to the cabinets looking for a cup. Then he fumbled over to the sink filling the cup up. He ran over handing the cup to Natsu since is hands were trembling.

"Guys! This might shock her body and cause something bad to happen!" Levy exclaimed.

"Shrimp for once in your life don't listen to logic. Listen to what your heart is telling you to do," Gajeel exclaimed in pain. It seemed as though Levy was going to protest, but then she sighed and nodded.

"Okay, Natsu pour it over Juvia," Erza commanded. So he did. Almost immediately Juvia shot up from the ground in terror. "W-what happened?" She asked shocked and scared at the sight of all her friends surrounding her. Then realization hit her. The look in their eyes told her what had happened. "Y-you guys s-saw me during one of m-my fits huh?" Juvia trembled. "I'm so sorry, but could you all go?" Juvia stated smiling shakily as she stood. "I have to finish cleaning and why were you guys here? Oh well," she giggled nervously. Then she started to push them out. "I'm very very busy right now so it would be a great help if you could all go," Juvia babbled on.

"H-hey wait! Juvia!" Lucy protested.

"Very very busy! Did I mention that?" Juvia exclaimed nervously. She quickly tried to hide her nervousness and fear behind a smile, but even her smile wavered.

"Juvia Stop It!" Gray yelled in anger. "Just stop it! You always push us away!"

"T-that's not true-" Juvia began but was interrupted.

"No! Don't interrupt me!" Gray spat in anger. "Whenever you actually need us you push us away! Whenever we offer to help you push us away! Whenever we ask you to join us you push us away! Do you see a theme here?" Gray growled. "You're always pushing us away!"

"I-I'm sorry..." Juvia mumbled.

"Gray! Take it easy," Lucy exclaimed in shock at the fact that Gray had lost his cool.

"No! I don't understand you Juvia! Do you think that you are a burden to us or something? Do you think we pity you and are your friends?" Gray asked a pained look on his face.

"Y-yes. Juvia does think that," she answered.

"H-hold on. You used third person!" Levy exclaimed. "You haven't done that since you started to date Bora!"

"Um, well Bora said he didn't like that habit of Juvia's so..." Juvia trailed off.

"Juvia. Why in the world would you think that your a burden to us?" Erza asked. Bringing the topic back to that.

"Juvia thinks that because Bora- no um uh..." Juvia trailed off once again.

"Why is it always Bora?" Gray asked. "You do everything that Bora tells you to do! Why do you believe him over your real friends? He hurts you he hits you!" Gray yelled.

"No he doesn't!" Juvia yelled back as tears began to fill her eyes.

"You can't deny it Juvia. We heard you," Gray said as he stared at her with hurt eyes.

"F-fine. Bora does hurt Juvia," she finally confessed. "Juvia is so sorry, but shes also s-so scared." she cried as she fell to the floor. Suddenly she felt someone hug her. She looked up.

"Why are you sorry?" Gray asked as he held her close to him. Then his expression hardened. He glanced at all his friends. The only thoughts that ran through all of their heads were that Bora was going to be sorry he ever messed with them.
