You Don't Understand

Chapter 7: Battles

"Juvia!" Bora's voice rang out. "How dare you let people into your house without telling me!" He screamed as Gajeel and Natsu swung punches and kicks at him.

"Oi! Get out of here you jerk!" Natsu yelled.

"Yeah. You hurt Juvia and took advantage of her kindness," Gajeel growled. "Now she has scars and bruises! You will pay!" He screamed as he dodged one of Bora's punches.

Meanwhile, Juvia was in her room with Lucy. She sat there on her bed huddled into a small ball. Then Levy and Erza barged in. 

"Juvia!" Levy wailed as she dashed over hugging Juvia. 

"Its okay Levy," Juvia spoke brokenly. "Its okay..." she mumbled as a single tear fell down her cheek.

"Juvia, why didn't you say something earlier about him?" Erza demanded gently, but firmly.

"He threatened Juvia that he would hurt you guys," Juvia explained as she sat up. "He goes to a prep-school so his family is very rich. He could probably do anything he wants!" Juvia wailed.

"I'm gonna get you Juvia!" Bora yelled from her living room. "Your gonna get it for telling them!"

"Not if I can help it!" The girls heard Gray yell. Now it was three against one. They would surely win.

"Wait? Wheres Jellal?" Juvia asked as the thought occured to her as to where Jellal could be.

"Oh. He's calling the police. He's not really one for violence, but if he is threatened he can handle himself," Erza explained. As if on cue Jellal appeared in the doorway. 

"Okay. The police are on their way right now," he reported as he walked over to Erza sitting down next to her on Juvia's bed.

"Juvia, your going to be okay alright," Lucy said. "See, the police are coming and our friends are here. They can protect you," Lucy comforted Juvia.

"Juvia is so sorry guys," she sniffed.

"It's alright. Really," Levy exclaimed. "After this we have to work on your self-esteem. Got that?" Juvai nodded in response as tears filled her eyes.

"Juvia is so fortunate to have such great friends!" She cried in happiness. Suddenly sirens were heard. Then a pounding of footsteps. A banging on the door was heard as shouts cried out. Slowly the group in the bedroom looked out into the living room. The police had arrived and had Bora in their grasps. 

"You are under arrest for breaking and entering!" One of the officers yelled.

"What! This is preposterous!" Bora yelled. "I was here first and they broke in and entered!" He insisted. Then his eyes landed on Juvia. Suddenly a light of anger sparked in his eyes. "You little brat! This is all your fault for not listening to me!" Bora bellowed in rage. 

"J-juvia is so sorry!" She exclaimed in terror as she started to shake. Then she was suddenly enveloped in a warm embrace. She looked up to see Gray. Even though he was covered with bruises he was still handsome to her. Wait. Where did that thought come from? Juvia thought in shock. 

"Bora won't hurt you ever again Juvia I promise," he said as he lifted his hand to her face to wipe away the tears that were falling down her face. Eventually all the commotion dyed down and all the police left with Bora in tow. Even with him gone though not everything was all fixed. Now the group of friends had another issue to fix. Juvia.
