Even though the coliseum in front of them was holding four of their friends captive, Leo couldn't help but notice the amazing architectural effort that must have been put forth to build the building.

"Alright," Jason said, "You all know the plan. Percy, Piper and Leo go in, get everyone out and if we have to we can blow up the island itself with our ballistae."

"Sounds good to me." Leo replied. "Although if we blow the island up, it could hurt a bunch of people who don't have a spanking hot war machine to fly around in."

Everyone agreed to that.

Leo steered everyone towards the island and when they got close enough he let down the boarding hatch and him, Percy and Piper got off. The hatch had just closed when Annabeth seemed to remember to say by to Percy.

Instead of letting the hatch down, she jumped over the railing and landed beside Percy. She gave him a hug and kissed him (and Leo didn't know how Piper felt about it, but it was pretty awkward for him). Jason flew down on a pillow of air and said bye to Piper even though he had already said his goodbye's earlier.

"See you soon, Pipes." He then lifted Annabeth up and over the railing of the Argo II with a flick of the wrist and flew over it himself.

Percy and Piper started up the hill where the coliseum was located but Leo watched his ship until it was out of sight. I hope its not the last time I see you, he thought to himself.

"Leo come on!" Piper yelled at him.

As he ran up to her he vaguely thought about why he hadn't seen any griffins yet. They walked around the edge of the island for a good thirty minutes until they came upon a cliff that led up a mountain side.

"Should we go back?" Piper asked. She and Leo looked at Percy (Who they had unanimously elected leader of this mini-quest) and waited for an answer as he looked at them, thinking.

"No." he answered. "I can use some water to make a sort of water-board. You know, like a hover board but not."

Ok, but where are we gonna get some water? We're sort of on a floating island."

Percy looked as though he was struggling with some of internal problem and Leo thought he looked as though he needed a pep talk.

But Leo soon learned that he would need more than a pep talk when Percy suddenly sprinted towards the edge of the island and jumped off.
