Jay felt like their relationship was amazing! She loved him and he felt the same.... or so she thought. In Will's mind, they acted like best friends. He questioned if it even counted as a relationship. As the days passed on Jay started to notice something different. Will was acting strange. She tried to ask Megan to see if she noticed anything to. "Hey Megan did you notice how Will is acting strange?" She asked. "Yea but maybe he's having a bad day." Megan said. She walked away to talk to
her other friends. "More like a bad week." She thought. What was going on in his head? Was it her? Is she annoying him? All these questions were killing her inside. He didn't look happy and he wasn't telling her why. This bothered Jay so much. He didn't tell his friends and he didn't tell her. She tried to forget about it but she was to worried. One day she tried to text him about the special effects makeup she just put on but he told her to stop texting her. He has never done this before. The next day he shut her out again. She asked him if he was ok and he said he was fine. He didn't even wait for her at her classroom door. Something was up and she was going to find out. He came up to her in band looking sad "listen I need to tell you something." He said with a big sigh. Was he finally going to tell her? "I think we should break up." He said. Jay's heart broke. She didn't want him to noticed so she just nodded and said ok. "I'm not happy, I feel like we're more in a friendship than a relationship." He said. "I still love you but... it's just not working." Jay just stood there and did nothing. She wanted to cry but not in front of him. She ran to the bathroom and started to think of how stupid she was. She kept saying her flaws out loud. She said she couldn't dance, she couldn't play music, and she can't make anyone happy. She felt worthless. All the stress from school just felt heavier. She wanted to lay there forever and ever until she was nothing in this world. As the days went by it was harder and harder to see him in class. She wanted some answers. She needed to talk to him. She felt like his explanation wasn't enough. "So we're those the real reason you broke up with me?" She asked. "Yea, we acted more like friends than boyfriend and girlfriend." He said. She thought in her head about how she was going to kiss him that day to. "You know what sucks?" She asked. "What?" He asked. "I was going to kiss you that day too." She said. "Sorry I don't know that." They stopped talking after that. The next day he was acting strange. At the end of class he waited for her. She thought it was strange but she let it happen. His class room was right there. "Ok well...bye." She said. "Wait one more thing." He said. He kisses Jay. She was so shocked she was shaking. She didn't know what to do. That was her first kiss. Did he like her still? She had so many questions. She sat in all of her classes thinking about that very moment all day. She didn't know why and maybe she never will.
