Chapter 4

~The next day at school~

Lorenza's POV

I walked down the hallway and looked at my watch. 7:20. Thirty minutes until the bell rings. Plenty of time to head down to the library and read some books.

I took a left turn and stepped inside the library. I scanned it for any signs of Terro. Luckily, he was not here. Although I did spot Clara and Misty at one of the tables.

I went down to the Fictional section and got one of the Warriors series books and plopped down in front of Clara and Misty.

"Manga and Doctor Who, you guys hardly ever read anything else do you xD?" "Hey Lorenza!" They both said in unision. "You know I love Anime and Manga Lorenza." Misty said and continued reading. "And you know my favorite is Doctor Who, this is actually an Encyclopedia on all the characters." Clara said as she also continued reading. "Yeah yeah I know." I started reading my book.

Misty's POV

10 minutes until the bell rings. I stood up to go get and check out the next volume. "Hey I'll be right back" "Okay" they both whispered back. I went to the Manga section to get volume 4 of Ouran Highschool Host Club. I stood in the check-out line when I saw Terro come and some kids in the table beside me started whispering.

"Look its Terro. Lets see if he starts looking at Lorenza." "But why?" "Havent you heard? There are rumors going around that Terro said that he likes her." And then another whispered. "Yeah, my friend told me that she overheard him say 'I dont actually hate her.' "

I silently gasped at what I heard.
"Does that mean he wants to be frie---" "Next in line" I was distrupted when the librarian assistant called me up. I handed over the Manga book and kept an eye on Terro.

5 minutes left until the bell rings and I headed back to Lorenza and Clara. I have decided not to tell them just yet.

Clara's POV

Something suspicious was going on. I could sense it. I stared a Misty, who was giving a confused face at Terro, and Terro, just giving a blanked face back and looking over at Lorenza.

Then I looked over at Lorenza, who was still reading unaware of what was happening. I decided not to disrupt her. Misty knows something....

Lorenza's POV

*RIIIINNGGGG* "Ahh!" I shouted a bit. I was startled by the bell. "Time to go~" Misty said. "But I was enjoying my book!" Clara whined. "You'll get to read it later lol" I said and laughed, that is, until I spotted Terro walking out the door. "Omg guys I had no idea that Terro was in here." "Oh he came in about 10 minutes ago." Misty said casually. "And you didnt tell me -.-?" "Well I didnt want to disturb you while you were peacefully reading." "OK makes sense." I gathered my stuff and headed out along with Clara and Misty.

~Time skip to our 1st break~

I started walking to the usual spot, but on my way I spotted Kate, the girl who got lectured because of me >~< . 'I should apologize for yesterday' I thought. She seemed to be alone so I went up to her.

"Hey Kate, I'm so sorry for what happened yesterday....." She looked up at me and smiled "Haha it was my fault. Stop blaming yourself! It was no big deal anyways, it happens to me all the time with everyone." "How so?" I asked curiously. "Well you see, I bring candy and chocolate every day and give them to students for free."

"Why do you do it?" "Well...." she looks down again. "People dont really like me... since I'm known for my clumsiness.... I want to make friends."

She looked up again with her face saddened. I sat next to her and said "Kate, you are my friend." She suprisingly turned around "Wha....t?" "And I'm sure Clara and Misty would like you too ^_^" "Lets go find the----"

"LORENZA!!!!" Clara and Misty came running towards me. "Speak of the devil" I told Kate. "Lorenza where were you!?" "Yeah we waited a long time for you. We were beginning to think you ditched us on purpose!" They both said worridly.

"N-no! I was just here apologizing to Kate, my new friend." They turned to Kate. "Oh I remember you from yesterday!" Clara knodded. Then Misty pushed Clara out of the way and asked "Hey! Do you like anime??????"

Kate was suprised at first but then answered "Y-yeah actually I have watched a few anime shows....." "Omg! Were so going to be bestfriends!" Misty said putting her hands together in excitment.

"Hey give her some space would ya?
-_-" I said to both of them. "Oh yeah you're right, sorry Kate." Misty and Clara then looked guilty. Kate shook her head "No its fine! You guys aren't bothering me at all!" Then Misty and Clara smiled. "Oh really? Thanks!"

*RING* "Aww I hate the bell!" Misty sadly said. "Just when we were getting to know eachother." Clara added. "True." I said and picked up my bag. "Well, we'll get to talk more at lunch than at our second break." I said as we all headed back to Class 2-A.

~Time skip to Lunch~

Lorenza's POV

I was so excited to get to know our new friend Kate I practically ran to the meeting spot. (Their second break is short and Kate had some things to do during that time so they couldn't talk.)

She was already there when I got there along with Clara and Misty. We quickly got our lunches and sat by the huge peaceful tree.

"So, tell us more about yourself Kate." I said as I plopped open my P&J sandwich. "Well I like reading and writing, as I mentioned before, I do like anime, and I really like Jurassic Park/World." We gasped since we all love at least one of those things she mentioned.

She continued on "I am very clumsy and that kind of irritates my family. I have 1 older brother, which, unlike me, is actually popular in this school."

"What is his name?" I asked curiously. "Oh you guys dont know? Haha I thought you guys already knew.... well his name is Terro."

"WHAT!?"
