Chapter 3: Bad News

Chapter Three

**Louis' POV**

I am nervous, especially with Annabelle being told she HAS to be present at this meeting. Plus the fact that management only wants me to meet with them, not the other boys.

"Here we go babe!" I flash Annabelle a smile. Currently we were standing in front of the door of the Meeting Room.

I gave Belle a quick peck on her hand before gripping the handle. Belle and I step inside, still hand in hand. All of management faces us when they hear the door open. By the look of Simons face I could tell it is most likely not going to be good news.

"Lou, Annabelle, feel free to take a seat. We have a few serious things to speak of," Simon was the first to speak.

"Why of course sir" Annabelle says politely, earning a smile from Uncle Si.

I let go of Annabelle's hand and walk towards the table everybody is seated at. I pull out Annabelle's chair for her as she sits down. She smiles at me and whispers a soft "Thank you" that only I heard.

I sit and Simon gets straight to buisness. "Louis we have been having slight... issues... with the fans, papparazzi, and well... some people in this room. May I say that I have nothing against Annabelle, for she is a beautiful young la-" "Annabelle is perfect and if you have anything bad to say about her say it to me first!" I cut Simon off.

Simon lets out a deep sigh. Simon, the boys, Perrie, Danielle, and others love Annabelle, why cant everyone be happy with her?

"You have ruined my relationships many times and I am NOT breaking up with Belle because she is 'bad for the band' and if you have a problem with that then its done! Im out of One Direction!" of course I wasnt serious, I just needed to scare Simon.

Simon and the rest of management have made me and the others break up with our girlfriends many times. It was almost as if they didnt care about our feelings. I love Annabelle more than Hannah, Jennette and Laura; they will not make us break up!

"No Louis... you couldnt quit One Direction for me! That would be insane!" Belle interupts.

"And he wouldnt... Louis you and Annabelle do not have to break up. We knew your reaction would be like this therefore have devised another plan!" Simon smiles slightly.

"And that would be?" I sit back down.

"We have been searching for a imposter girlfriend for you! Now we have found the perfect girl! Eleanor Calder, she is a model for Hollister, she is also an amazing actress. But of course we need both of your permission before this plan goes into action. Its either break up for real or become a secret couple..." Simon announces.

I looked over to Annabelle who looked a little upset yet relieved. "Give us until tomorrow for your answer." I stand up, not waiting for what anybody else had to say.

"C'mon Belle" I grabbed her hand as she stood up. Nobody dared to say a word. They knew that I am waiting to burst into a fit of fury.

We exit the room and head towards the lift. I decide to wait to discuss this with Belle until we get to to our flat.

**Annabelles POV**

After Simon had explained everything to Lou and I, I began feeling upset. Was I really not good enough to impress management? Was this Eleanor Calder so much better than me?

I didnt dare to show how upset I was, Louis would take it to far. He is very protective of me and cant stand to see me upset. It makes me feel like Im worth something. He makes me feel perfect but all of the hate makes me feel otherwise.

"Louis babe, calm down, its fine, Im fine" I whisper to him. He ignores me and pushes the button in the lift rather hardly. I decide to not talk until we are in the car. He needs his time to cool off before we discuss anything and I was fine with that.

The ride home is completely silent. Just the soft hum of the engine and cars drifting by. It isnt awkward but very strange. Usually Lou and I talked or atleast turn on the radio. It is thinking time though, I need to make a decision.

I am leaning towards the whole 'Secret Couple plan' but what if Louis begins to like Eleanor? Maybe we could be a secret couple without anyone finding out! No that wouldnt work out...

'I guess that leaves me down to one thing... him and Eleanor have to start 'dating' to save our relationship. Its only fake though. They will only be acting' I thought. 'Hopefully they will only be acting!'

"We're home Jelly Belley. Lets go!" Louis smiles although Im sure it isnt completely real.

"Okay Lou Bear!" I laugh. Yes those were the nicknames we had for eachother, Jelly Belley and Lou Bear.

We exit the car and walk into our flat. "Do you want to talk now babe?" I asked him.

"Better sooner than later" he sighed.

"Well I thought during the car ride and decided that the best for us is to go with Eleanor. We can still be together. Plus I trust you so we have nothing to worry about" I state.

"I think all of this is a load of bull shit! But if anything... I think Eleanor is better than breaking up" he is obviously still fuming.

"Okay well theres our choice." I reply.

"I will call management tomorrow for now lets have a movie night!" he immediately got back to his childish self.

"This is the Louis Ive learned to love! Lets go pick out a few films!" I take ahold of his hand and drag him to the t.v. room.

We pick out a huge stack of movies which includes Mean Girls, Grown Ups, Finding Nemo, and a few more comedys. I am terrified of horror films so those are out of the picture and we both need a good laugh.

We start off with Mean Girls. 'If youre from Africa why are you white? KAREN! You dont just ask people why theyre white!' ha I love that part.

By the time we are on Finding Nemo I was drifting off to sleep. It was a long and exhausting day so you couldnt blame me!

I fell asleep in Louis' arms. It would be hard to do this while him and Eleanor are 'dating'.

Now talking about the story! Im guessing you were expecting that but poor Annabelle! She feels so imperfect! Although I am an Elounor shipper in real life ;)
