Jaiden's POV

I woke up to the sound of my mother calling my name. I slowly peeled my eyes opened and saw her features surrounding my vision. I have her a confusing look before she talked to me.

"I know it's early in the morning, but you have to get ready. The moving truck will be here in a few minutes." My mom said pulling the blankets off of me making me shiver. I got up and rubbed my eyes. My mom left the room and I checked the clock beside me. 6 o'clock on a Saturday!? This better be good. I grabbed some shorts and a t-shirt and threw my dirty clothes back in my box full of clothes. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth than put my toothbrush back in the brush and put my median length, dirty blonde hair into a bun. Once I finished I made my way back to my room and grabbed my phone. I looked at it to see if I had any text messages from Jake, but I guess not. I sighed loudly before making my way downstairs. When I walked in the moving guy was already there taking moves and other stuff out from the living room. I opened up the stove and ate the last 2 pieces of veggie pizza before throwing out the box. I looked outside and both my parents were out there. The moving guys were already done with the living room as I made my way outside to both my parents. I walked over to them and my dad threw an arm around my shoulder making me shake. He beat me good, a lot of times actually. I could barely stand living in the same house with him let alone stand next to him. I quickly moved away and asked my parents a question.

"Can I go for one last walk around the block?" I asked looking into my mothers eyes.

"I don't see why not." My mom said shrugging her shoulders as my dad agreed with her. I nodded my head as I quickly started walking. I looked around the neighbourhood and smiled. This is where I grew up. All the places where I fell, all the places where I've had broken hearts and Jake fixed them, and most of all.. The place where I grew up. But the memories will be gone as soon as I leave. I inhaled the sent of the fresh pine trees and smiled. This is it. As I was walking along I past Jake's house. I quickly glanced at it and saw Jake was crying on his porch. No matter how much I hate him right now, I still have to be there for him. I slowly and quietly walked up his driveway to his deck. As soon as I got to his deck his attention turned towards me.

"I-is it alright if we hug one last time? I-I know you're extremely mad at me right now.. It's just.. I-I'm going to miss you Jake." I said. As the words slipped my mouth I finally understood how much I was going to miss Jake. He quickly whipped his tears away before standing up and walking down the stairs. He towered over me as I was looking up waiting for him to hug me. He looked hesitantly at me before hugging me tight. It felt good. It felt like it was before. Before all the drama started, before anything. We both inhaled a long breath and exhaling. I felt wet tears soaking my dry hair. I quickly looked up to see Jake crying. I smiled at him and whipped the tear away from his face.

"Be happy, please?" I asked. He shook his head no.

"I was just a dick to my bestfriend, and she was the one who came and apologized." He said as more tears started running down his face.

"It's okay, please just be happy? We can call, and Skype. Everyday. Please just try and be happy." I said a tear sliding down my face. He hugged me again and chuckled a little.

"I guess the saying really is true." He said. I pushed away from the hug and have him a confusing look.

"What saying?" I asked. He smiled and shook his head.

"You don't really know what you have until it's gone." He said biting his lip. I shook my head and smiled. My phone vibrated and it was my mom. She texted me that it was time to go. I looked up at Jake and he smiled.

"I guess this is goodbye.." He said looking sad.

"It's not goodbye.. Lets just say.. Bye for now." I said laughing. He laughed also and pulled me in for one last hug.

"Jaiden, I'll always love you." He said as he pulled away and kissed me on the cheek. I gave him a half smile.

"What kinda service is this?" I asked as he started laughing making me laugh.

"Okay, I have to go, I'll text you when I get to London!" I yelled as I walked back down the driveway.

"You better!" He yelled as I giggled and left. I ran home to find the moving truck full and my parents waiting for me in the truck. I got in the truck and did up my seatbelt.

"Ready for the long drive?" My mom asked. I nodded my head and smiled. (AN:I have no idea if you can drive from California to London, but lets just pretend.) The trucks started up and we started driving. I quickly put my headphones in my ears and slowly fell asleep.

--------------------------------------

"Jaiden, honey, it's time to get up." I could hear my mothers voice. I slowly peeled open my eyes to find my ear phones out of my ear and a new surrounding. I looked around and it was way different than California. It looked rainy, and cold. I sighed at my new life style.

"C'mon and check out the house." My mom said as she unbuckled her seatbelt. I unbuckled mine and opened my door. I got out and there was a huge house. I walked in to find the movers and my father trying to get things in order. You walk in and than there's the kitchen. You go up a stair case and there's the living room a full bathroom, and a giant bedroom. If you go up a few more stairs there's another bathroom, a bedroom, and a small living room. I walked into my bedroom to find boxes and my old dresser, and my old bed. I looked around and saw I had a window sill seat. I screamed with happiness. I've always wanted one of these. I looked out the window and saw some vines going up the side. I smiled to myself. What a beautiful room. I turned around and saw my mom smiling. I ran to her and hugged her.

"Thank you." I whispered in her ear. She smiled and I let go of the hug.

"You better start unpacking, it's going to take you a while." My mom said. I nodded my head and my mom left leaving me alone. After a few hours of unpacking and moving things around I was finally done my bedroom stuff. I laid on my unmade bed and saw my phone going off. I looked at the caller ID and it was Jake. It was only 5 o'clock here making it late there. I quickly answered the phone and put it up to my ear.

Jai(me)-Hello?

Jake-Hey, are you there yet?

Jai-yeah, I've been here for a while, sorry I didn't text you I was really busy!

Jake- it's alright, ahah

Jai-Okay..

Jake-Alright, I have to go but take care.

Jai-Byyye

I hung up my phone and set it beside me. I was just going off in a daydream before I felt my eyes getting heavier and heavier.

---------------------------------

I woke up to the sound of my phone going off. I looked at the time and it was 8 o'clock. I saw that I had a twitter notification. I looked in twitter and saw that it was just rude people saying stuff about me. I pressed my home button and put my phone on my charger. I got up causing black to fill my vision. I had to blink a few times before coming into reality. I walked slowly down all the steps to find my house empty and a note on my parents bed.

Dear Jaiden, we're going out tonight. You know your dad, he'll probably be drunk when we get back. Don't wait up. I left my bank card so you could order something or you can just cook something yourself. Love:Mum <3 xo

I smiled and threw the note in the garbage. I walked down the stairs to the kitchen and the dinning area. I went to look in the fridge and there was nothing. Great, some more junk food. I sighed loudly before picking up my cell phone. Nothing to eat, guess I won't eat. I made my way upstairs again and sat on my window sill. I watched the rain fall down. I was paying attention to my phone until I heard loud laughing. My attention turned towards my window were I saw a bunch of guys in varsity jackets walking down the street. Well, that's adorable. I laughed to myself. I quickly turned my tv on and laid back in bed. I just wanted to talk to someone. I sighed and looked back at twitter. All the hateful messages hurt me. I sighed loudly before crying. This happens almost every night. I cried myself to sleep until I felt to exhausted to even move.
