Mary's POV

" Mom! Mom! M-" She ran into my room, concern and fear written clearly on her face. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" This was the every night thing. I would get scared of something that wasn't there, I would cry and scream for help, but in the end it would be just a dream.

I started crying and she came to comfort me. "Oh honey, tell me what's wrong-" I cried even harder. I had never really told her what was wrong. I would just say it was a bad dream and let it go, but not this time, the paranoia was too much. "He was there mom, he's always there. Him and his friend's and I'm always left to die, I always do in the most inhuman way. H-He" I just couldn't finish.

"Shhh sweetie its alright, your alright I'm here. I promise I'm always here."

She rocked me back to sleep and rubbed my back gently as I started drifting in and out if reality.I felt her leave the bed and kiss my forehead, then the door closed.

Right before I could seeped into the darkness of my nightmare I felt a cold breeze nip at my skin and as i shifted trying to get away I felt a hand caress my leg. I shot up and looked around ferociously but there was no one there. I sank back down and hid under my duvet laying stiffly just waiting while also falling asleep but right before fell a voice whispered in my ear.

He's here
He's here
He's here...
