When Selena entered the ball she was amazed. "So many people, it's so beautiful," she whispered, the ball was decorated with golden curtains and large white tables. The guest were dressed in formal dresses dancing around the ballroom. Suddenly the queen arrived, Minerva was a beautiful woman but her beauty wasn't everything about her. She was evil to the bone and had always wanted the throne. When she got her opportunity she took it. "Hello princess, ny name is prince Harry would you like to dance," asked a young man. "Of course," Selena replied, Harry was a very handsome prince, he had dirty blonde hair with stunning blue eyes. Selena was starting to like him a little bit. "So where are you from," Harry asked, "I'm from," Selena paused she knew she couldn't tell Harry that she lived here she had to lie, "I'm from the kingdom of waltsland, it's a kingdom far away form here," she replied. Their dance was something that Selena would never forget, they enjoyed each other's company and laughed every time the other screwed up while dancing. Sadly their dance would not last for the queen had spotted her unloved stepdaughter. Minerva had planned the ball to find a husband for herself and she fell head over heels in love with Harry. "I have to go," Selena whispered as she left the room hoping that Minerva wouldn't find her, but sadly she did. "Come here you little brat," Minerva commanded as she took Selena by the arm and sent her up to the tower. "What were you doing with my prince, and where did you find that dress," Minerva asked impatiently, "you want to talk about my dress or what you've been doing to the kingdom," "you wouldn't have dared," Minerva whispered. "Yes I would of dared, you shouldn't be ruling the kingdom like you are, so by my fathers law this kingdom belongs to me,"  she replied. "Maybe that wasn't the best idea that you could have," Minerva whispered as she left the tower. Selena was done with how Minerva treated her, she'd have to take extreme measures. That night Selena escaped her tower and went down into Minerva's room. She looked around for any letters that her father had written, if she could find any letter from her father stating her succession then she would be crowned queen. "Where could it be," she whispered quietly when finally it came to her, "his study room, of course," she whispered happily as she left to go to her fathers old study room. Her fathers study room looked very old, spider webs were hung on the sides of walls, everything was dusty but she didn't care she had to find something to help her. Selena looked for hours not finding anything, when suddenly she saw a letter written the day before her father died. "Lets hope this tells me something important," she whispered as she opened the letter reading, "my dear sister Catherine, I have to tell you something important about Selena. As you know she will take the throne when she is old enough, but there is something even more important that you have to know. As you know many people have said that Selena's mother died during childbirth, but it wasn't true. When Selena was born her mother had to leave us to go somewhere important. Why do you think she can talk to the moon, and why she can stay all night long awake without falling asleep. Selena's mother is the moon, my dear wife Isadora, the one and only moon."
