Snowrose's pov

Kyo look's well. I can't believe how different he look's. Well his hair is the same. But his body is so different. He look's bigger.

I smile when my Father isn't looking at me. I watch as Kyo is the first in to the arena. I then watch my Father grin as he send's 5 other fighter's in to attack him.

I hope Kyo is as fast as he used to be. I'm sure he is. I watch as they circle him. I feel a sudden feeling of fear run through me.

As I watch them circle Kyo. I then watch as he pull's his blade from under his cloak .He then put's the point to the floor.

His head is bowed. Then as they attack all at once. It seem's as if he hasn't moved but then suddenly .The men drop to the floor dead .

I want to cheer but I can't . I watch as my Father nod's for another five men to go in. My Father turn's to me and says. " He wont be able to do it again ".

I hope he is wrong . No, I know he is wrong. Kyo is a master with a sword. He has been training since he was ten.

I watch as yet again without seeming to move. He kill's another five. I place my hand over mouth. As I smile.

My Father is not happy that a Dragon is winning. He call's his head guard Nate over." Send the last ten in to teach this Dragon a lesson ."

I look at Kyo and he turn and Smile's at me. I still have the same feeling's for him. I Still love him. But I also hate him. For leaving without a word.

I haven't seen or heard from him in six month's. I wasn't even sure he was still alive. I can's help but smile back at him though.

I will slap him across the face later in private for not staying in touch. I then see the last ten men make there way in to the arena.

He fight's so wonderfully. As the fighter's drop two by two. Kyo smile's as he move's. It is as if he is rooted to the spot .

I then hear whisper's around me. " That is Lord blood ". I smile. I have heard him called many name's but never that one .

When the last one has fallen. Kyo walk 's back toward's my Father. " I have won the right to be your daughter's bodyguard ". I smile.

My Father shake's his head. " First you answer me this ". Kyo nod's. " This is what a sword can do? and what is your Swordsmanship's name and it's meaning? ".

Kyo pull's out his blade and point's it my Father throat . I gasp. 

 Kyo's pov 

 I pull out my Nightblood and point it at King Shade throat. I hear Snow gasp. I say. " Fine here is your  answer's. A sword is a weapon and whatever pretty name you give it. Swordsmanship is a way to kill ".

I said in a deadly tone. I put Nightblood in it's sheath and walk back a few feet and bow to King Shade and Snow. I say. " Oh my form is call flying wing light and if I wanted to kill you it would be an easy thing to do ok ".

There was lot of gasp's and Snow says. "Okay that's a good answer but what are the rules of combat then ?". She says  in a curious tone as she look's at my face.

 I say in a amused tone. "One: be aware of your surrounding's. Anticipate attacks from all angle's. Two; be creative and think what can be a weapon. Use whatever you have at your disposal. Three;show no fear of your opponent. No matter whatever there size or shape. Four; pinpoint your enemy weakness and use it against them. Five; attack aggressively and relentlessly. Do not back down until you win, be the last person able to attack ".

Snow look's happy with that but, her Father is mad he says. " But you dare attack me ..". Snow indisgust says. " Father he won and answered your question." She sigh's

 " He did not hurt you either so enough ok ". Snow is cute when she is angry. I wear a indifferent expression King Shade says.

 " Fine he will be your guard but if he ever does that again he will be gone". His tone is angry he get's up and leave's.

 Guard Nate come's and ask's me. " Are you Lord blood ". I nod Snow says. " Wait I have heard of that name before that mean you are part of the 5 shadow Lords right ". I nod again.

 I then say. " Yes but no more though I left about a month ago". Snow says. " Why did you leave ". I said in a sad yet angry tone ." Let's say we do not see eye to eye on some things ". Nate says. " Go and get your  thing's and come back here ".

 So with that I leave to go to the inn. I get my stuff and I'm back at the gate in an hour. I see Nate he says. " Lady Snow want's to see you in her room right now ". His tone is one of a amusement.

 I  go to her room. As I walk in, I see Snow wearing a shinmering long dress she walk up to me  and  kisses me and then slap's me.

 And then walk's a foot away with her arms crossed and says.

Snowrose pov

" How dare you leave without a word ". Kyo open's his mouth. " Don't you dare, for all I knew you were dead ". I look in to his red eye's

" So where the hell have you been, Why didn't you write ". I can't believe him. he turn's up out of the blue.

Dont get me wrong it's so good to see him. But without even letting me where he has been.  " I can't believe you Kyo, you just up and disappear ". I turn away from him as I feel tear's in my eye's. I don't want him to see me upset .
