CHAPTER 17: DAY 28

ZONIRA

I stayed the night at kie's house and slept on the couch in the living room, when I woke up the next morning I went to the kitchen and I saw sunny's dad sitting on the dinning room chair staring at his cup of coffee " you know what I never used to believe in ghosts, monsters, or any kind of supernatural bullshit.............. I just always figured it was a bunch of fake hoaxes and people trying to get us to believe in paranormal things for their own benefit or propaganda but what I saw yesterday last night that wasn't human and there was for damn sure no scientific explanation for that and now that I've been thinking about it this whole time Jackie has been begging me to keep sunny inside the house around this month but I never knew why I've always just thought that she was just being an overprotective crazy ass parent, but she was right and now their both gone", after sunny's dad said all of this he started crying, there was nothing I could say to cheer him up so I just gave him a half hug and patted him on the back then went upstairs.

KIE

I still kept on thinking about something Kenan mentioned last night when he was telling us about what happened 20 years ago with everybody's parents, he said that it was his dad and the rest of our parents except mines who where in that murder plan with Isaiah but from what he told us something just didn't sit well with me I mean if I never did anything to corvus and if none of my parents didn't do anything to him either then why the fuck was he trying to kill me I just had to talk to booker because there had to be something else that he wasn't telling me "uh booker can we talk for a sec. ?" "yeah! what is it kie ?" " has my mom ever done something to that Isaiah guy you investigated years ago" "no but he was kinda obsessed with her" "what do you mean obsessed ?" "well when me and Oliver did a search warrant in his room back at the Kane asylum to see if he was hidin anymore evidence I found pictures of Oliver stuck in between his bed and there were a couple of weird ass drawings on the back of the pictures so I just ignored it at the time when I gave them to your mom she just thought he had some weird crush on her and through the pictures away" " wait a minute! do you remember what the drawings looked like on the back of the photos" "hhhmm! uh! I think there was some kinda Jewish looking start in the middle of some circle and then there were two crescent moons attached next to the circle" when booker told me that I knew someone who could help me find out what that symbol means so I texted Madison about what booker told me and based off what she texted back to me it sounds bad because she said I need to come to her immediately, now i'm really nervous I mean this symbol could mean anything.

"Hey zonira did you want to come with me to meet up with Madison at midnight ?" "why midnight ?" "well because no one is at the gas park at midnight and besides midnight that's when she goes over there so are you in ?" "sure kie", I wonder what the hell he needed Madison for ?.

VINNY

As soon as I woke up I couldn't find any of my security guards I looked all around the house I looked out the window but they weren't there I tried contacting them on my phone and I got nothing, and with my dad being gone all the fucking time I was home alone with my mom who's probably going to leave early so she could hang out with her Botox bitches, when I went downstairs I looked up at the ceiling and all of my security guards were hanging from the ceiling wall on ropes! and a whole bunch of fucking crows were eating the flesh off of them, when my mom opened the door I immediately grabbed her arm and ran outside "what are you doing vinny! ?" "mom all of the security guards are dead! we can't go inside the house because corvus is in there" "what are you talking about vinny? there is no such thing as corvus !" she pulled my hand away and walked off so I went to my car but corvus was right there standing by my dad's Bentley, I quickly ran inside the house and locked the front door " but he was breaking it down by punching it "BOOM! BOOM!! CRACK!!" "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!" my mom started freaking out so I tried to calm her down and we both ran upstairs, I planed on locking myself in my room so I ran down the hallway but as we were running my mom tripped and fell on the ground I didn't have time to pick her up because corvus was right behind her, as I turned the corner of the hallway to go to my room I saw him stab her in the back "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" I opened my door locked it then put my desk in front of it "BOOM!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!" he started punching my door then all of a sudden it got quiet, I was hiding in my blanket because the room was dark, I started breathing really heavily and was getting Goosebumps "SCREEEEEEECH!!" I could hear a lot of noise coming from the walls, I slowly peeked out my blanket and I saw a bunch of black shadowy fuzzy hands coming out of my walls so I went back under the blanket " CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!" "SLAM!" "CLACK!!! CLACK!!! CLACK!!" I could hear footsteps in my room and was hoping that it was my dad, I slowly pulled the blanket down to see who it was but as soon as I pulled the blanket down corvus was launching straight towards me with his bone knife.
