CHAPTER 13: DAY 24

BOOKER

That punk ass vinny kept waving the gun around like he was a fucking kid with a nerf gun " put the gun down vinny!" "shut up!!! before I kill you!!" "your not gonna kill me vinny so why don't you do yourself a favor and put the fucking gun down NOW!!" his hand started shakin and he had that look on his face like he was trying to solve a puzzle or something so I slowly walked closer to him and talked to him some more so I could distract him " what are you thinkin about vinny you obviously came here to kill me so what's the hold up ?" "uh! um! i'm trying to think" "think about what!! ?....... you planned on killing me right so man up and pull the fucking trigger" I got a little more closer to him " you shouldn't have crossed me booker i'm way more powerful than you and way more richer than you!!!" " oh yeah!! well how did that work out for you at that fake court case ?" "shut the fuck up!!!!" he was clearly nervous so I took this opportunity to kick the gun out of his hand and upper cut him "WRACKKK!!!!" "POW!!" his mouth was bleeding and he fell to the floor he's lucky I didn't kill his ass right here in this damn ally but I heard a couple of police cars close by so I hurried up and got the hell out of there.

SUNNY

Ever since we made those amulets I've felt more safer going to places when my dad asked me about what it was I just told him it was a gift from zonira, my dad doesn't really believe in myth's and stuff he's one of those people that just thinks everything can be 'scientifically explained' so telling him about the corvus situation would just end up into a big mess which I didn't want to be in, after I took a shower I got dressed then put on my jacket then slipped the amulet over my neck and walked outside to go to school, as I was walking down the street with my earphones on to go to school I could feel a presence behind me like someone was watching me but when I looked back I didn't see anything so I just ignored it and kept on walking, but it still felt like someone was behind me so I paused the music on my phone and listened for any kind of noise, I heard footsteps following me "CLACK!!!! CLACK!!! CLACK!!!! CLACK!!!" I walked faster and pretended like nothing was behind me but the footsteps kept on getting closer and closer "CLACK!!! CLACK!!!!! CLACK!!!" I panicked and just started running, when I looked behind me it was corvus running straight after me, I ran even faster then ran behind someone's backyard which had a whole bunch of clothes lines with a lot of hanging white sheets, I hid behind on of them and I couldn't here corvus anymore which made my heart drop, as I looked around all I could see was corvus's shadows running behind the sheets I put my hand over my mouth and stood still quietly I could feel a warm breath behind me which gave me Goosebumps, I walked slowly down the clothes line aisle but as soon as I walked by one of the white sheets corvus cut down one of the sheets "SWOOSH!!!!" and he tried to come after me "Aaaaaaaaaah!!" but my amulet that I completely forgot I was wearing started glowing a bright red color, and corvus looked away from me then started screaming in his demonic voice and ran off.

KENAN

I was getting ready for school then I heard a knock on my door when I opened it, zonira was at my doorstep "can I come in ? " "sure" "look I have something to give you but I don't want to show you in front of your parents" "what the fuck are you talking about zonira ? " "ssssh! look.... with some of our parents being in some kind of fucking 'secret society group' i'm not sure I should be showing you this in front of them" "what is your trying to show me zonira!!?" she pulled out some kind of weird necklace "is that the amulet they made?" "yes" out of no where my mom came to my door 'what is that in your hand Kenan ?" "uh it's a gift" I don't know why but for some reason my mom was looking at the amulet like it was some kind of snake or spider then she walked off to her room, me and zonira walked downstairs but when we got to the living room my mom came downstairs as well " where do you think you guys are going you can't leave!!" "mom what are you talking about ?" "how did you get that amulet!!!" then she pointed a gun at us " what do you mean this isn't an amulet it's a necklace!!" "no it's not I've seen that before!!!!!" she responded "mom what are you talking about!!! ?" " I know about corvus and since you both know too much I can't let you leave until your dad gets here Kenan!!!!" I've never seen my mom act this crazy so I just denied everything and pretended like I didn't know what the fuck she was talking about " we don't know anything about corvus!!!! mom put the gun away!!" " I always knew this day would come I just never thought it would be this soon!!! LOOKS LIKE BOTH OF YOU ARE STAYING OVERNIGHT!!! because until your dad gets here no ones going anywhere!!!" she said "what are you talking about mom! what is it you and dad are hiding from me ?" I replied.

KIE

Me Britt, and estaban, went to go look for Madison and with an address booker got from the adoption agency finding her would be a lot more easier we drove up in my car to violets parents house, the place looked normal but I did notice a couple of crescent moon wind chimes hanging by the door, " KNOCK!!!! KNOCK!!!! KNOCK!!!" "creeeek! hello who are you guys ?" "uh! we're a friend of Madison's is there any chance she's here ?" " I don't know any Madison" "well do you know someone named violet ?" "how do you know about my daughter!?" the woman said "well lets just say that her and one of my relatives go a while back" the woman at the door looked around outside as if she didn't want anybody seeing us by her house the n told us to come in, but just in case this bitch wanted to get crazy and do some voodoo shit I had my 40 caliber waiting for her ass "have a seat" "did you know of any weird stuff your daughter was into ?" Britt said " well she was kind of weird child I mean she would always wear dark clothes and disappear at night but I that's just how some teenagers are you know" "well do you know if she had a daughter because we've been hanging out with her and all of sudden she's just been missing so we came here since we've heard her talk about this place" " well she ran off when she was 18 so if she did get pregnant I wouldn't know anything about it but if she did have some daughter by any chance then I would probably have to guess she lived the same lifestyle as violet which means more than likely she's probably around those goth kids that hang out in downtown Seattle other than that I don't really know where she could be" "as soon as she said that I immediately knew she was talking about goth squad " so is my granddaughter Madison in some kind of trouble ? do I need to call the police ?" " no she's fine it's just been a day or two since we've seen her" estaban said "wait a minute! hold on if your daughter ran off when she was 18 why didn't you call the police to go find her ?" Britt asked the woman, I didn't want the lady to get suspicious so I tried to change Britt's mind from talking about violet "Britt!! you don't ask people personal questions like that!" "you don't but I do!!" she responded "oh it's ok I don't mind answering her question...........well you see when my daughter ran off I asked the neighborhood watch to look for her but we couldn't find her and when I went to her room I saw some weird devil stuff she was into and I didn't want her anymore..... I loved my daughter but I couldn't have someone in my house that worshiped the devil....... a parent can only accept so much you know but I did keep that crescent moon wind chime so I'll always remember her she used to love hanging moon wind chimes in her room" the woman got teary eyed when she sad that, she clearly didn't no where Madison was so we left her home and went back to my house.

ESTABAN

As kie was talking to booker I was going through the book goth squad gave us, I mean maybe there's some kind of spell or something that would tell us where the fuck Madison was but so far the pages were just a bunch of random witch shit but when I went to page 360 I saw something that might help us find her " guys look come over here I found something in the book!!!!".

BRITT

"What is it estaban!! ?" I ran to him to see what he found in the book and when I looked at the page he was on I saw a short piece of paper wedged in between the book with a couple of addresses on there " wait! what if one of those addresses is where Madison is at I mean after all " kie said "well then it looks like we have a long day tomorrow".
