The colour red sprayed itself on the plain white walls like it was simply graffiti done by a delinquent. It was much more than that. The substance trickled down the walls and the clear plastic sheets that covered parts of the room in an almost hypnotic way.

With one more hack, his head came off and rolled onto the floor.

The blonde-haired woman in the middle of the room covered in blood let out a horrifying crying and I smiled; which quickly dropped.

My head whipped towards Frederick, forehead creased and a frown on my lips. Dramatically, I threw my hands up in the air, waving around the machete that was coated crazily in blood as I motioned around the room. "What the actual hell! There's blood on the walls."

Frederick, who was sitting on the seat, nodded with indifference. "I can see that,"

"There isn't supposed to be any blood on the walls!" I exclaimed, cringing away from the splatters of blood on the floor. It was fucking disgusting.

"You should've thought about that before you decided to cut off his -" he briefly dipped his head in the direction of the, definitely, dead guy; his body limp on the floor, having fallen face-flat into the ground, and his bloody head a few meters away just chilling about, "head, you dumbarse."

A glare shot his way as I puffed strands of pale hair out of my face. "Whatever, it needed to be done. He was fucking annoying me." I looked at him, almost pleadingly. "Just please clean this up. I can't even deal with this."

"Well blood does tend to spill when you cut off a person's head," he said, shaking his head in disbelief at me, though probably not at all that surprised, but stood up from his seat anyway. "And you're able to behead someone but a bit of blood makes you feel queasy?"

"That -" I gestured around the room," that is not a bit," I spluttered out, staring at him like he was nothing but crazy, though I'm pretty sure I was the crazy one in this room. Feigning a wistful expression, I thought for a moment before answering, "And yes."

He smiled with annoying false sweetness and gallons of sarcasm begging to spill out in one go, and cooed: "You're so fucking adorable,"

Annoyance tore at my skin as my glare deepened. "Don't call me that."
