It was so pretty.
The view of the mini universe in my room ceiling. It was shining bright when I look at it, as if the ceiling was another part of the dark room. Its light didn't reflect the room, but when I looked all the fear of the darkness that I felt before fled away
I smiled and turned to look up at Jimin. I tried to make sense of his face as my eyes started to adjust to the dark. Jimin was already looking down at me with a small smile over his face. I saw his eyes curved, which was the only thing I could see.
"Do you like it?" He asked, rubbing my arm.
"Very much." I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. "Thank you."
"When I put it up there, I thought it will help you to sleep in the dark, since you are scared of it." Jimin explained, his hand on my head, patting it lovingly.
"That's so thoughtful of you." I said, mockingly and he chuckled, pulling away from me.
The panic started again, I couldn't see him anymore. As if he vanished in the darkness and left me alone again.
"Look up." I heard him saying and I did as he told me. The bright few of the stars and the galaxy calmed me again. "When you scared look up." he said, his voice was the only thing I could hear besides my breathing.
And then all their brightness vanished as Jimin switched on the light.
The view of the galaxy wasn't as beautiful as it was when it was dark. It became dull and not alive that I wanted to switch off the light again to see it's beauty once again.I turned and took a clear look at his face. "Thank you, Jimin." However, I was curious why the stars and the galaxy and before I knew it I was asking him. "But why did you choice the galaxy?"
Jimin's face fell, as if the realization took him and I assumed that I must have been in love with it and I didn't remember.
"I was fond of it?" I asked, more liking clarifying and Jimin nodded slowly, giving me a warm smile.
"You loved it so much. You used to go to the library a lot to read about it." Jimin explained and I felt like he wasn't talking about me since I didn't remember.
I couldn't deny that it was something so annoying and bothering.
"Ah!" I scoffed, rolling my eyes."Minyoung..." Jimin called softly, and I knew what he was going to say. You will remember soon. Don't bother about it!
"I'm fine, Jimin." I said before he could repeat his assuring and convincing words for the nth time. Not looking at him, because inside of me, I didn't believe I will ever remember anything. "It's all about time, I understand."
"Minyoung." Jimin called again and this time I looked up at him.
"Yeah."He opened his mouth and then closed it again, as if he had changed his mind to say anything anymore.
He probably knew I got enough of this talk. I hoped he did.
"I should leave you to rest now." He said and that wasn't what I wanted to hear.
"Why?" I asked, sounding so sad. I wanted him to say more.
Back at the hospital he used to stay the night with me, being around me a lot. Now I couldn't imagine not having him as much as I used to.
"You should take a rest. We are going to school tomorrow." He said with a small smile. But the look he gave me, that he also didn't want to leave, but he had no choice, made me sigh and nod.
"I will see you in the morning." He gave me one last hug and a kiss on my forehead before opening the door and leave.
"Bye, Jimin." I said as I watched him going down stairs and yelled that he was leaving, to my mom who was in the kitchen so she could hear him.
