Every room, every corner and every inch in the building had been searched and checked.
She couldn't have gotten far.
Jungkook didn't leave a place without searching for her. His heart was drumming and beating so fast against his chest cavity and his mind was thinking of nothing but this wasn't going to happen again.
He couldn't lose her again.
He couldn't bear to see something happen to her again.
His mind made him think of possibilities that set his heart on fire.
He tried to push all the thoughts that something had happened to her again, but couldn't stop himself from outline them.
Bambam and Jina was looking too, so he decided to leave the building for them and look outside.
It was cold and windy. It was a promising night of rain. But Jungkook didn't feel any of that. His fear put him on fire, his doubts, his worries, the accident, all have an effect on his nervous system.
In front of the building, there she was. Standing, leaning on the wall blankly. Her eyes weren't focusing on in anything as if she was lost.
He slowed down when he noticed her. His muscles relaxed and lost its tension. He could breathe now that she was alright.
Approaching her, she noticed him from the side of her eyes and looked up at him. Her eyes filled with tears and were red.
It was stupid how he thought that she almost forgot about her worries.
Without realizing what he was doing, Minyoung was pressed to his chest, his arms protectively around her. He wished he could absorb all her pain and transfer them to him.
Minyoung didn't pull back, but melted in his arm. Lost herself in his warmth. She wrapped her arms around him tightly and her body started to shake underneath his grip over her.
He let her cry as mush as she wanted. His eyes blurred with tears too. It was hard not to think that he was the reason she was in so much pain and he couldn't do anything to take it away.
However, he was relieved that she wasn't hurt or anything happened to her.
A few minutes passed and Minyoung started to calm down. Her arms still firmly around him, her body was rising and falling in steady motion as she breathed.
His hand reached for her head, pressing her closer to him and his arm around his waist tightened.
"How are you now?" He asked, feeling her heart beat against his chest. Every beat he felt made him grateful that she was still alive, awake.
"Better, I guess." She sniffed.
His other hand rubbed her back in a smooth circular motion. The tension in her body loosened.
At that moment, he realized that Minyoung felt safe around him, that she was glad that was there right now which frightened him.
She would end up hating him anyway.
"I thought something happened to you." He sniffed, embarrassed that he teared up a little. "You suddenly disappeared."
"I'm sorry." She said. "I just was just thinking. I didn't mean to worry you."
"What were you thinking about?" Jungkook ran his hand through her hair and she was still in his arm. Neither of them let go of the other.
"My brother. Did we have a good relationship? Were we close?" Minyoung sniffed, hiding her face in his chest. "I must be crazy thinking of someone who is dead for so long."
