Only the evening breeze that accompanied him while he was passed some 'empty homes'. It didn't concern him anyway, he only thought on one purpose only, that place. The place that he often passed while he was in his dragon form, but he totally ignored until she comes and gives some color to the place that he thinks it's a boring place. He didn't expect that it would be a most wonderful memories for him.

The house or usually called empty shops which shows some foods for the spirits who visit regularly, still quiet and the sky was still bright when he stepped slowly. Well, this is not the time to get back to work. Perhaps people are still sleeping and perhaps only him who was awake, only to visit the places that he visited often for the past six years. Silly thing to do but it doesn't matter. Others don't know what he feels.

Haku stopped when he arrived at his favorite place. He saw on his right there's a statue which he said 'it's similar to a frog' that leads to empty lots. And beneath him there are some stairs that lead to that empty lots. Haku saw many statues with the similar form on that broad lots. And he can also see the small houses that either empty or its occupants still enjoy the sleep. Haku leaned on the statue. His eyes stared at an old red building with a clock tower at its peak. Or he calls it the gate.

He folded his arms across his chest and his eyes still staring at the gate. He wishes that the gate was opened to the human world like six years ago which a little girl and her parents came through the gate. Haku really hopes that gate open again and he can go to see that little girl who may now have grown into a teenager. He smiled at the thought the little girl. How was she over past six years? Does she still crybaby when she knew that her parents turned into pigs, and she didn't know what she should do until Haku came and help her? He was wondered if the girl was obeyed his words? Not to glanced back and kept going until she came out of the gate?

Haku sighed heavily. So many things he wanted to ask the girl. Many things he wanted to tell her. But he couldn't do it and the only way for him to cure his longing is to visit this place. The place where he last spoke with the girl and felt the touch of her hand. A place where he last saw the girl's back, and saw her running towards the gate to meet her parents who had returned into a human, after enchanted for eating food for the spirit. At that time, he was fighting the urge to pull the small hand back to his hand. But he didn't do it and let her hand go.

"It's been a long time." He started to talk. He talked as if he talked to the girl. He always did it as if she could hear him. Yet he is alone in this place, with the statue of frogs accompanied him, and he thought maybe this statue always hear when he was talking.

"Good evening, a bath house will open in an hour. And I will start to work again at that time." Haku heard his own voice when he spoke. He smiled a little. "How are you today? What did you do today?" He continued.

"I have no mission to do from Yubaba since last week. And luckily I just work at the bath house, like the old time. When you was there, worked for her. Nothing interesting. Everything went as usual."

"Well... Everything goes as usual, or I could say that it was all boring, since you left." Haku pause. Then he said, "Since you left, I did not feel the color."

"How I wish that gate will open again and I'll find you're walking towards me, with that look of yours. How I wish that I could go there and open the gate by myself, force myself in and once I'm in the Human World, I will get you."

"But I can't. The gate was open as it wish. No one knows when it will open and when the gate will be closed again. The gate was a mystery to us all." Haku said in an explaining tone as if he was explaining something to the girl.

"I can't go to the human world though I forced. The gate seemed to forbid the spirit to go to the human world. I've heard that the gate was made with a spell that can't be broken by anyone. The gate was purposely designed so that the spirits in the Spirit World can't disturb people in the Human World. I've been trying to break through, and I always failed. Even Zeniba's golden seal can't through that gate.

Haku laughed. "You still remember Zeniba? Your granny? She told me about it after I told her that I was trying to pass the gate and I always come back to the same place, in this area. She was mad at me and she said I could have lost my life just to get through the gate, but I did not care. And at that time she scolded me and told No-Face to hit me"

" 'You mustn't say that! You have a promise with Chihiro that both of you will meet again and if you die, what would she feel? She will be disappointed and very sad, You will hurt her!' " Haku repeat what Zeniba said to him when he visited her home. He smiled remember the incident, when the No-Face chased him and caught him, No-Face continued to hit him until Zeniba said 'stop', then he stopped. If Zeniba wasn't there, maybe he would avenge punch. If Zeniba wasn't there.

Haku sat on the stairs next to the statue. He tilted his head and he closed his eyes slowly. He felt the wind blowing passed face and hair.

The gusts of wind seemed to try to stroke his face, and he really enjoyed it. He starts to imagines her hand stroked his face, and he could feel the warmth from the hand. "I miss you." Haku almost said in a whisper. "A lot.'

He opened his eyes slowly and he was still staring at the gate. "I didn't know whether you miss me or not. I just want you to know that sometimes I wish you looked back and return here. But it would be too selfish for me, Chihiro."

Haku saw the sun began to set, and the clear skies he'd seen before was getting dark. It's a sign that he would soon start to work or perhaps Yubaba will give him a new mission to do. Time goes fast, and he hated it. He wants the time for him here longer, and he could 'talk' with Chihiro longer.

"I probably have about fifteen minutes to get back to work. So, let's talk some more before I go! I'll tell you what happened yesterday when Lin and Kamaji ..... " And he found himself began to talk again. If others were there, maybe they would have thought the boy was crazy because he talked to himself. Smiling to himself, laughing to himself.

But Haku didn't care. He was always doing this since six years ago, he was hoping she might be able to hear every word. He knew it was impossible, but sometimes he wished that there was a miracle that makes the girl can hear what he was talking about every day, at the same time and in the same place.

Yes, he doesn't shy to admit that he missed her.

Author's Note:

Wow, I just finish the chapter 2 again! So fast? I can't believe it myself haha :))

I got the idea to write the second chapter since this morning, and actually it keep bothering me until night came and I just had to write it down. It takes about 2 hours to write this chapter while for chapter 1 I only took half an hour.

Chapter 2 is from Haku's point of view.. What do you think? How about if I write two perspectives in the next chapter? Please give your opinion! I think I will make two POVs in next chapter.

I hope you all enjoy this story, and perhaps you can imagine if you become Chihiro or Haku. Actually, with my writing, I want you can imagine if you were in that situation. And you can imagine what will you do next if you become Chihiro or Haku.

Again, I apologize for my poor English, and maybe some of you don't understand or even laugh at it. It's okay really. :( I promise to get it better and better!

So, I will write a chapter 3 as soon as possible!

See you!

Thank you for reading and please comment anything or vote if you liked my story. :))
