The next generation // one tree hill

Today was moving day, I was going to tree hill where I was born but I had never been there since then. So, this trip should be awkward for me of course. I sigh as I continue packing boxes into the back of a truck. My brothers were messing around with Victoria, my sister, while I helped mom and dad. " shut up !! " I hear my sister scream at my brothers, as I roll my eyes . " guys leave Victoria alone " my mom said in a sweet tone. My dad only nodded in agreement. I didn't mind leaving town, I didn't have that many friends around her. I was more of the outcast of my family. I was the baby, but I could also be the bad kid when I wanted to be. Every night I snuck out on the roof for a smoke, and I was fond with pills. I ignored talking about my past with anyone and I'm sure this won't change no matter where we go.!we packed up and headed to the airport where we would be flying off to tree hill. The drive to the airport was pretty quiet with faint music playing in the background. I put in my earbuds to ignore the silence of my family. When we reached the airport we got our bags out and headed onto the plane with our tickets. We got to sit in first class since my parents paid extra. I sat in between Victoria and mom. " we are gonna meet Haley and Nathan at the airport, and they might bring there kids along " I had heard of Nathan and Haley and their amazing love story over a hundred times but I had never met them, or at least I didn't remember them. " they have a boy around your age actually Katie " I looked over at her and nodded " cool " I said before putting in my earbuds and closing my eyes.

I woke up from a shake from David as I hopped up and seen it was time to go. I jumped up and headed off the plane. I kept my eyes down at my phone before running into a very tall figure. " watch it! " I said before looking up as my face completely changed Into a smile, I couldn't lie he was good looking. He giggled " you must be Katie " he said " how do you know me ? " I asked with confusion " lucky guess ? " the mysterious guy said " I'm Alex " he said reaching out his hand. " Katie, let me guess you're Haley and Nathan's son " I said without letting go of the grip on his arm " nice guess " he laughed. " well.. " I started before " hales!!! " my mom screamed as a turned to see them hugging. I smiled, I hadn't known my mom to be close to a lot of people but she seemed genuinely happy to see them. I turned back to Alex " so, where do you go to school " I asked " tree hill high " I smiled " that's where I'll be going " he smiled back " well I can't wait to see you there but I feel like we are gonna see each other more than that " he laughed gesturing to our moms. I giggled and nodded in agreement. " who's this " I heard from behind me. I turned to find Davis, him and Jude were both very protective of me but Davis beat Jude by a mile stone.  I sighed " this is Alex, Haley and Nathan's son " I said. Davis sorta nudged me aside and went in to give Alex a handshake. " firm grip, nice. I hope you have no intentions of falling in love with my little sister " he said without even hesitating. " Davis! " I shouted trying to shut him up as my face grew red. " because I wouldn't allow it at her age " " I'm 16! " I continued trying to interrupt him. Alex smiled " I'll try my best " he said. I tried hard not to smile but it came naturally as Davis grew silent. He looked him in the eyes " I'm watching you dude " he then walked off. " I'm really sorry about that " I said scratching the back of my head. " don't be it's fine " he laughed. I sighed " I see you've met Alex " my mom said coming up behind me and putting her arm around me. " yep " I said looking over at her. " we're gonna be staying with them for a few weeks before the house is ready so you may as well get familiar " she smiled " but not too familiar " my dad and Davis pretty much said at the same time. Jude nodded in agreement. Me And my mom laughed as we all hopped into the car, which was pretty crowded. " so how are Lydia and Jamie doing " my mom asked. " they are good, Jamie is graduated from high school and he now goes to college at Michigan state, but he comes in pretty often. Lydia is a senior this year and lord I feel old " Haley said as she started laughing. My mom laughed " yea tell me about it " the whole way there they all laughed and talked, minutes in I put my earbuds back in and laid my head back. I could feel Alex looking at me but I tried not to look back. We got to their house where we were greeted by Jamie and Lydia. " aunt Brooke! " Jamie smiled hugging my mom. " lord your getting big " she laughed. Lydia ran out after them " hey " she smiled and hugged Julian and then Brooke. They all talked and made their way inside. I got my bags and went upstairs to try to find my room. I turned around to see Alex. " shit " I muttered and look my earbuds out. " sorry " he smiled. I giggled and sighed. " do you know where I'm staying ? " I asked. He nodded " I think your staying in girls guest house with your sister. " I nodded. This house was nice, I mean our house in London was pretty big but they were living In a full on mansion. He took me out to the guest house and got my bags for me. It was beautiful, flat screen tvs, golden colored walls. I smiled and Alex lead me into one of the rooms. I smiled and laid down on the bed, it felt absolutely amazing to lay down. I unplugged my earbuds and put them by my side. " do you bring those things everywhere ? " Alex asked looking at my worn out earbuds that were completely outdated. " I do " I said looking down at them " they were a gift from an old friend " I said biting my lip. " boyfriend ? " he asked. " we were almost there " I said. " enough about me " I said changing the subject quickly. " what's going on in Alex Scott's life " I smiled

The first chapter ended in a weird way I know ?
