Luca stared at me for a good second before continuing "how many people do you have in your family."
"I've have a mum, dad, brother and my sister." There was a reason why I said 'a mum' instead of 'my mum', but that's for next time.
"Not on good terms?" He asked as I nodded, I had no problem with my sister since I have never met her, I have only heard that she was born a day before me and we were separated from birth.
"Yeah, I guess. What about you?" I asked. "2 sisters and a brother, I've never met my mother but she's alive in Canada and my father is in Italy, last week he was in Germany I think."
"Cool."
"Yeah, but not cool when they all try to abuse the power of my luck." He sighed, I didn't want him to be sad so I continued.
"Haha, your name, I just realised... Lucky Lu!" I said, teasing him.
"Yeah well you're Jinxy Jenny." He laughed.
"My name isn't even Jenny." I retorted but that didn't mean he was going to stop calling me that.
"Harlequin!" I hear someone yell, I turn to see Hayes.
"Ah, sup dude. How are you?" I asked.
"Ok I guess, your sister kind of helped me." He replied.
"How so?" I asked.
"Well, she gave me a kiss and it didn't kill me so now I know girls aren't poisonous." He said.
"You need help dude if you think all girls have poison." I replied but shrugged it off anyways.
"Brother~" I hear a voice at the end of the hall way, George.
"Oh what is it my dear sister?" I cooed back.
"I'm not a girl."
"Yet you act so girly, I bet half the girls here can beat you in arm wrestling."
"Nope, they would be swooning over me."
"You can't get any girl you want." I laughed a little, he always thought he was hot but in reality... Let's just say if puberty was a bus, it would have hit him at full speed.
"I can get 20x more girls than you."
"20 X 0 = 0" I replied. Kind of burning myself in a way.
"So you saying you can't get girls either?"
"You said either!" I shouted as everyone laughs then continued " and no because I swing the other way, I like boys. Something wrong darling~" I said with as much bitterness.
"Hah GGGAAAAYYYYYY!" He yelled.
"Hah STUPID!!" I yelled back. He then kissed his teeth and walked off. "Dumbass." I muttered. Hayes and Luca watched as my brother walked off.
"You ok?" Hayes asked.
"Naw, it's cool bro. Anyways I can deal with him." I take out a book I ordered from Amazon. Summoning Demons for teenagers.
It was then Luca's turn to speak "I'm not worried about him anymore, I'm worried about you. You have a fricken books abut demons. Not only that WHO WRITES A BOOK JUST FOR TEENS ABOUT DEMONS!"
"Right, I did. Along with the lost souls from hell." I said "look, it even has my name." I showed them the book and it said:
Summoning Demons for teenagers
By: Harlequin
"Well, to clear up the misunderstanding, this is just my notebook which looks like a book." I showed the pages with lines to them then continued "and it was the wrong one I ordered but I didn't bother returning it so I kept it."
"Sometimes, going to hell isn't what I'm scared off." He said, pretending to tremble. "And put that away there are going to be so much misunderstandings because of you!" He yelled.
"Kya~~!" Someone yelled. Annie... "Take my soul Harlequin and in return I'll be your slave who you are destined to fall for."
"Demons don't like nice people."
"I can be bad!" She replied.
"Did you know that the original meaning of nice was foolish."
She then blushed and huffed in annoyance, after finally walking off.
"I swear I need two 6 months holiday every year."
"An eternal break you could call it?" Luca said.
"Or just no work forever!" I replied.
"Wanna hang with us now, Hayes?" Luca asked.
"Really?" Hayes asked, he looked like he got a puppy for Christmas. Unless you're allergic then cats. Or just a toy car? No?! Well I can't please you all!
"Yeah!" I said, smiling but he couldn't see. Hood duh!
"Thanks!" He yelled hugging me.
"Ok woah, calm" I replied, he blushed in embarrassment and then we all went to eat our lunch, well the lunch Luca received when he came to school because of his good luck.
"Well, Hayes and Jenny, lets go."
"My name isn't even Jenny!" I yell back.
