Are We Friends or Are We More (Editing)

Chapter 13

     "How did you get here," I ask, as Ashlee sat on my bed.

    "I got my licence the other day and I drove," she says, smiling.

    "Oh, I didn't know," I say, as Lilly walks into the room.

    "Lilly! I haven't seen you in forever," Ashlee says, pulling her into a hug.

    "Well, I have been busy with work and everything," Lilly says, tucking her hair behind her ear.

  "Also, the boys are wondering what you guys are doing. He wants to get on with the day. Oh my, I never thought I'd say that sentence," Lilly says, laughing to herself.

"What are we doing," the Irish boy, says, swinging my door open.

     Ashlee and I look at the Niall in my doorway, then I look back at Ashlee. She was smiling and her face was red.

    "I don't know, what would you like to do," I ask him.

    Harry was now behind Niall.

    "Is everyone okay," Harry asks.

    "Des-" Lilly started to say until I interuppted her.

   "Shhh," I say, with my finger to my mouth, staring at Lilly to not say anything else.

     "You guys can go do something and then we can do something together later. Now please let me talk to Ashlee alone," I say.

  They leave the room and I jump off the bed and look at Ashlee. She was wide eyed and her jaw dropped to the floor. I laugh and grab Ashlee to go say goodbye to the boys.

    We walk down the hallway and into the living room. I got Ashlee to hug Niall and goodbye. I hug Harry and this is probably our last hug. I mean, why would he come back? I look nasty and I'm not that wonderful of a person. We watch them leave and after they pull out of the driveway, Lilly leaves to go fix up things at the Clinic.

Ashlee and I talk about the boys and how I met them. She starts crying and I hug her.

"Today is the day," I say, "We get to chill with One Direction!"

Ashlee wipes away her tears," best day of my life," she says, smiling.
