Harry's eyes were incredibly captivating. They were green; the most beautiful color Kate could imagine. And they were staring right at her.

Kate's breathing hitched in her throat.

What am I thinking? Stop it, Kate, she told herself.

She averted her eyes and sat down next to Leah, shaking her best friend awake.

“Leah!" She hissed in an undertone. "Look who's sitting in front of us..." Leah jumped, her eyes half open.

"Wha? Are we there?" She sighed, rubbing her eyes. Kate smirked and waited for Leah to notice their company. Leah narrowed her eyes, more awake now. Kate could see her listening to the conversations with the British lilt. "Who's in our cabin?" She asked, peeking over the seat. "Wait...is that One Direction??" She whispered loudly to Kate. Kate nodded silently. “Hmm. Interesting." Leah said, not sounding very interested. She shoved off her uggs and stretched out in the large first class seat. "Goodnight," she yawned as she pushed her earbuds into her ears.

"Ok, just me and the boyband, cool," Kate muttered to herself. She pulled out her headphones as well, but didn't turn any music on. She had more eavesdropping to do.

"Can we take our seatbelts off yet?" She heard an Irish voice ask.

"I dunno, I did," Harry answered lazily.

"I didn't, because as you can see, the seatbelt sign is still on," another voice pointed out.

"Oh come off it Liam, what's life without whimsy?" A fourth voice retorted - Louis's, she thought.

"Zayn, are you asleep Mate? Mate?" The Irish voice, obviously Niall, asked. Kate heard a muffled groan. "Yep he's asleep," Niall announced.

"So, Harry, about our conversation earlier..." Louis began. Harry cut him off.

"Shut up, she's right behind us!"

"Nah, she's listening to music, I checked," Louis said dismissively. "So are you gonna talk to Ms. Blythe," Kates heart thumped unevenly, "...or will I have to introduce you two?" Harry's answer was drowned out by a voice coming out over the loudspeaker.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have now reached our cruising altitude and you may feel free to move about the cabin. Please enjoy your flight."

"Ow!" Kate exclaimed angrily, rubbing her thigh and glaring over at Leah who had just kicked her during her slumber.

"Are you alright?" A familiar deep voice asked, sounding much closer than it had before. Kate glanced up to see those vibrant green eyes bending over her, inches from her head. Harry's face looked slightly concerned but mainly amused, and there was a anxious air in the way he had in hands jammed into his pockets. Kate recovered from her annoyance immediately.

"Yeah, she's just a kicker," she laughed nervously. 'She's a kicker,' what the fuck? She thought in her head while a smile remained pasted on her face. Harry laughed too, then awkwardly stuck out his hand.

"Uh, yeah, well, I'm Harry, nice to meet you," he said in a jokingly casual way. Kate laughed and took his hand, relaxing a little.

"Hi, I'm Kate," she smiled, a genuine smile on her face now.

"And I'm Louis," Louis piped in as he stuck his head around the corner of the seat. "A real pleasure to meet you, Kate, a real pleasure indeed, hope you don't mind us taking up part of your cabin, we really appreciate you sharing with us," he chattered, while Harry just rolled his eyes.

"Hi," Kate laughed.

"So what are you going to London for?" Harry asked, sitting in the empty seat across the aisle. His long legs draped over the sides and he pulled his beanie down farther on his head.

"Leah and I are working on some dances with Danielle Peazer, actually, Liams girlfriend," Kate answered, suddenly realizing the connection.

"Really? So you two are dancers?" Louis asked, resting his chin on the top of his seat.

"Well, Leah's a full time one, I dance but focus mainly on my art," Kate gestured towards the sleeping girl at her side, who started again at the sound of her name.

"Kate!" Leah demanded sleepily. "Shut up!" The boys both laughed. Leah actually opened her eyes now. "Oh!" She said, seeing the boys. "Hello!" She sat up, pulling down her crop top and rubbing her hair.

"I'm sorry we interrupted your sleeping," Harry said with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, well, I have like 8 more hours to sleep, so it's fine," Leah answered, yawning.

"These flights are always so boring," Louis complained. Leah nodded in agreement. Kate glanced over at Harry, only to find his eyes were on her again. She met and held his gaze, trying not to become lost in his eyes.

"I bet this one will be fun," he grinned at her, and Kate returned the smile, suddenly much more excited for the trip.
