Chapter 12- Part 2

-Harry's POV-

I couldn't stop crying, this wasn't suppose to happen. My hands were made into fists , I stared at the boy that once wore a smile, that could make even an angel jealous. I stared at the boy that once made me laugh so hard milk would shoot out of my nose. I stared at the boy that once made me so happy.

I held Sophia in my arms , pressing her close against my chest. I didn't want her to see the image that I am right now seeing.

"Clear" one of the doctors said, before pressing the defibrillators back onto Mikey's chest. They were losing him, his life line was slowly forming into a straight line. As much as it hurt to watch the scene in front of me I couldn't look away.

"Clear!"

"Clear!"

"Come on son stay with us , Clear!"

"Clear!"

Before I knew it little Mikey was gone.

He was gone just like that.

"No, no! He's not dead! Doctor please do something please!" Sophia said detaching herself from me and running up to the doctor.

"I'm sorry there isn't anything else we can do" the doctor said placing a hand on Sophia's shoulder giving her a weak smile.

The tears that I thought stopped only came back. I couldn't hold them in, I couldn't I pressed my back against the wall and slid down.

I brought my legs up and rested my head on my knees.

-Sophia POV-

No he wasn't dead, he wasn't. He couldn't be dead...

He was- is- stronger than that.

"Mike, Mikey" I started looking down at the pale faced boy that completed me.

"I know your still there please, I beg you to wake up. Please I can't lose you, your my everything I need you. Mikey please , remember all the things we were going to do together, all the things we had planned. Mike you can't leave me, your the only family I got left, please" I didn't get any answer or single movement in return. I turned to see Harry crying just as much as I am.

I held onto Mikey's lifeless hand and rested my head on his chest where his heart no longer beats.

Soon after the boys showed up, each one of them broke down after being told the news.

"Sophia?" A nurse questioned.

I looked up "yes ?"

"Someone's here to see you"

"Alright"

I stepped outside the room and into the hallway to see Ms.Patt.

"Hello Sophia , how is he?" Ms.Patt asked slow and sweetly

"Lifeless and dead" I replied bitterly.

"Oh my, Sophia I don't have much time but I have something impo-"

"What happened ? How did it happen" I asked

"I have an answer to that"

"Start talking"

"He was outside in front of the building, he was riding his bike on the sidewalk. But everything happened so quickly. A van came I couldn't see the driver, it was a black mini van, it circled the block quite a few times. I didn't think about it much I was just keeping an eye on Mikey and next thing I knew the Van drove at full speed onto the side walk and ran over Mike. The driver quickly backed up and sped off" Ms.Patt was now crying "I received a letter an hour or so after, it was taped to the bike Mikey rode, but it isn't for me to read." She told me.

"The letter is for you"
