I was so tired I didn't wake up till 2pm. By then Artemis's mate was home. He's quite a nice guy. It was the day me and Artemis take over our roles as alpha and beta.
After the ceremony I felt the power strengthening Kandy. Oh goddess, she'll never shut up now. "Your right Cara. You will never have a silent day again. Did you know w...." I blocked our link so she wouldn't give me a headache. Never mind it won't be her it'll be this slu... No cara. You promised youd be nice today. "Look what the rouges dragged in" Sneered Brittany turning to smirk at her 'friends' "was it a mirror for you. By the looks of you, you've broke it" I stated while grinning at a smirking Artemis. A scowling Brittney turned on her 6inch prostitute shoes. I mean heels and stormed off towards the house.
Halfway through the night I smelt an amazing smell. Oh no. "OH MY GOD. FOLLOW SMELL. GO TO MATE" Kandy screamed knocking down my mental wall with her screaming. So I did as she said. I didn't have to move. I literally just turned around to come face to face with the alpha of the strongest pack in the world's second son.
I stared into his hazel brown eyes, black hair and his tight black shirt until Artemis pulled me out of the love struck trance I was in. "Cara are you okay?" She questioned through the private mind link. I just smiled at her. She got the message. I turned back to find Brittney running her hands down his well toned chest. "IM GOING TO KILL THAT BITCH!?!" An oh so understanding Kandy screamed in my pounding head. He noticed me looking at him because he started smirking at me. I threw a glance at the woods and he must have got the signal cause he almost immediately threw that THING off him.
I walked into the forest followed seconds later by him. I stood at a tree and waited for him. "Hello my pretty little mate, or should I say Beta Winters" he fake bowed. I giggled at his humorous statement. "Do you have a first name Mrs. Winters?" He further questioned "Cara Winters". "Very pretty, suites you. I am Calumbo Silvermoon. I know stupid. Right?" He said nervously rubbing the back of his neck. See every alpha/children/luna gets the name of the pack. In his case The Silvermoon Pack. Thus his name Silvermoon. "I think it is awsome". I smiled at him truthfully. We walked back to the party discussing what to do about the packs. We eventually decided him moving to my pack would work best because I was beta of this pack and his older brother would take over the Silvermoon pack anyway.
When we got back Artemis bombarded me with questions. "Calm down Artemis. I was with my mate" "OH MY GOD. YOU FOUND YOUR MATE" and with that I was in a bone crushing hug "Me dieing" I stuttered out and Artemis let go. "Oh and can he join this pack?" She nodded enthusiastically. "Phew I thought I was going to have to find a new beta there" "no his brother took over the pack so he can help me as beta" "wait he's an alpha?" "Ye, from the Silvermoon Pack" her jaw dropped and she glanced behind me, just as i felt his arms snake around my waist. "Artemis, this is my mate" I said. The smile on Artemis' face was indescribable except it went from ear to ear.
The rest of the night was great him and Artemis' mate talked and me and Artemis giggled all night long.
