I took one last glance in my hallway mirror as I left the door. Pulling my extra large hoodie's sleeves as far down as they could go, I slowly closed the front door and made my way to school.
Buying time, I stood on every autumn crunchy looking leaf that came in my path, kicking the dead caramel and brown leaves out of the way. I wasn't at school yesterday. Did anyone even notice? Knowing the answer already, I shoved the thought to the back of my brain and focused on my lessons today. English, Maths, Art and then P.E. The word P.E sent shivers down my spine, not because of the dreaded thought of physical excersise, but the knowledge of getting changed, exposing myself with fellow males. I could already sense them staring, judging me. Pointing at my scars. I'll have to find a way out of it. One way or another.
Arriving at school, I slumped on a free bench behind the bike sheds. Being early sucks, but I have no choice. Since the stupid head teacher called my mum, complaining I'm always late. The bell rang and I winced. Knowing that in a few split seconds, a chaotic pack of wild animals - also known as teenagers - shall soon flood the scene. Some came in groups, some in pairs, some by themselves. I waited patiently as I watched every kid one by one enter the large torture house ( school ). After seeing the last group push their way through the the doors, I picked up my bag and sighed heavily. Time for another boring unentertaining day.
