So, here's how my day went: it started off pretty normal, training and whatnot when, as I'm talking to Nico, we hear "What the Hades is your problem?!?! Do you think I'm that stupid?!?" Nico and I look over to see my best friend Anna Mae, and what appears to be her now ex-boyfriend, Connor. "For the thousandth time Annie, we were just kissing. It means nothing" he says, trying not to yell. "JUST KISSING? YEAH AND I'M NOT GONNA TRY TO PUT YOU IN A COMA!!" she yells throwing her fist foward causing a wave to crash down on him. He should have known by now not to mess with a daughter of Poseidon. "I don't see why you're making a big deal out of this! It's not like you don't like other guys" he says disgusted. Oh no. This isn't going to end well.
"ME? No I've never liked anyone else and I would NEVER cheat on you or lie to you and then play it off like you're a victim when YOU are the one who was caught making out with Drew of all people!!" He backs up, the hurt visible in his eyes from where Nico and I are standing. "Annie I..." "No! Just stop and never talk to me again" she screams before running away in tears.
As I run after her I can hear Nico punching Connor in the face. I chase her all the way back to her cabin and just before I'm able to get to the steps she slams and locks the door. "Crap" I mumble under my breath. I pound on the door "Anna Mae, it's me open up". In response I hear what sounds like a shoe being thrown at the door. "Hey, any luck?" I hear Nico ask as he comes up behind me. I sigh "does it look like it". He just rolls his eyes.
"Hey, what's going on?" We here behind us. Jason comes up, looking worried. "Connor cheated on Anna Mae with Drew and now she's locked the door" Nico sums up. "Oh well here" Jason says as he grabs a bobbie-pin from his pocket. "This door locks itself a lot so Annie and I both carry them" he explains after some weird looks from Nico and I.
We walk in to you crying your eyes out on the bed. I run over to you and engulf you in a hug. "Shh, it's okay animae, he was worse than Centaur poop" I say trying to cheer her up. She just sobs harder. After a few minutes she calms down enough to talk. "You know, I'm not even in love with him, I'm just really really pi**ed he cheated."
"Look Annie, he isn't worth this, and he's gonna realize what he lost." She just hugs me in reply. "Well if it's worth anything, I punched him for you" Nico says. Annie laughs and gets up to hug him. Just then Elle, my other best friend and daughter of Nemesis, bursts through the door. "Annie, I hears what happened and after we cheer you up we are gonna beat him into next week." Anna Mae just chuckled. "Thank you, but I'm gonna be fine. I'm just really pi**ed he cheated." Elle just smiles wide and says "I know what you need". Us three smirk while Jason and Nico are very confused. "Um, you gonna explain?" Jason asks. "Emergency dance party"
