Dear Diary,

My sisters birthday is today she is now 19 my parents are still upset that she didn't want to become Alpha of our pack so it falls on me I didn't want it I always thought Jakie would do it I would have a normal life outside of my home ever since I was little Carlisle told me about places outside of La Push and I was going to go there till my sister's 16th birthday when she said no she wouldn't be Alpha I remember that day my heart dropped knowing that I now have to do it since it was my "destiny" well it kinda was but it was Jakie's first and she just handed it off like it was nothing! Oh well I can't complain.

Rosmary get up before your late for school. I hear my mom call through my closed door. I sigh and close my diary and put it back on the shelf where it's hidden from prying eyes like my mom or dad's. I get up get my clothes ready for the shower take a quick shower and get dressed and I'm ready in less then 5 minutes giving me enough time to drive to Forks and pick up Crystal and get to school. I walk in the kitchen and see Jakie Happy birthday sis. Thx Rosie. Mom where is my breakfast I have to leave soon to pick up Crystal? Look in front of you Rosmary. Oh thx mom. Mhm. I eat my food like I haven't eaten in weeks and rush out the door without even a goodbye to my mom and Jakie. I race down the road leading my into town and to my girlfriend's house she is waiting for me outside the house so when I pull up in my truck she hurries into it before the loud engine can wake up her dad and step mom. Morning Rosie. Good morning to you too I pull her into a good morning kiss and pull out of her drive way. So why didn't you come over last night I left the window open and why did you have to get your grandma's old truck it's louder then a jet. I'm sorry baby I feel asleep in my bed after I lied and told my parents I was going to bed I was going to wait a few minutes before I snuck out the window and come to see you and you know my parents wouldn't let me get a car for the fact that I don't have a driver license yet I still have my permit. You know your mom has super hearing because she is she lowers her voice a little because I have the windows down in the truck a vampire well at least half. Yeah yeah don't remind me. You know I wasn't supposed to tell you so you can't keep bringing it up. I know I'm sorry Rosie. It's fine I love you. I love you too. We pull in to the high school just then and walked in I have all the same classes as Crystal thx to my great grandpa Charlie since he is still the sheriff he pulled a favor from my principal and that's how we got the same classes my mom and grandma were pretty upset I used Charlie like that but that's as far as it went since my family knows I imprinted on Crystal. The bell rings and class starts are teacher walks in and starts talking I zone out her voice so I have no idea what she is saying I lean over the side of my desk. Pss Crystal Pss Crystal. What Rosie can't you see I'm trying to learn. No I can't see but do you want to come over after school my parents are going to be out and my sister is having a birthday party? I can't my dad and Lindsey are having my dad's boss over for dinner something about how he might get promoted in the hospital. Okay whatever he'll never get that job as long as Carlisle is there. I know Carlisle is the best but my dad is going for pediatrics this time since Carlisle doesn't want to work with kids. Yeah kids have away of knowing what he is and ratting him out. I'm sorry ma'am. I stay quite the rest of the class. The next thing I know I'm being called to the office. I walk into the office and see my parents standing there. What's
wrong? I immediately asked. My parents walk outside the office where it's private and they told me that they have to go on a little trip because Aro decided that he needed to talk to my coven my dad was going for a protection so they won't be back till the 22nd. I say okay and go back to class the rest of the day goes by in a blur I drop Crystal off at her house and go back home when I get home I call my best friend Gabby who is Embry's imprint and tell her we need to get ready for the party. Not long after hanging up she is in my room. Okay spill what's bothering you. Crystal can't come and I was hoping to night would Idk be a special night she could sleep over and I wouldn't have my parents walking in my room every 5 minutes checking to make sure we aren't doing anything. I know Embry's parents do that to us too like we are going to do something stupid everytime we're alone. Come on let's get ready the party is going to start soon. Rosie don't let it get you down have some fun tonight it's not the end of the world. Yeah sure. We get ready for the party set everything up around 5 people started to show up I knew everyone of them since they were in the pack and I was to be leader soon. I walk into the kitchen and pull out my dad's beer and other liquor and put it out for people to drink after that I go into my room and lock the door. Hey. Hey what's up how's the party? Idk I left I'm in my room how's the dinner? Okay I guess boring I wish I was there with you. Me too I had the whole night planed for us. Aww your so sweet. I know. We were going to party then come lay down in my room and watch movies you could even sleep over. Yeah right you know how your parents are. Remember I told you they left to go see Aro in Italy. Oh yeah I'm glad I haven't told my dad about us he would flip and not let us be together. Yeah I know I hate to lie but I need you in my life. G2G dad's getting mad love you. Love you 2. Rosie get your butt out here and come party quite being anti social. Gabby are you ok. Yeah I'm fine just a little upset that my best friend isn't out here. I get off my bed and open the door. Yay now come party. I grab a beer and slam it down feeling a little better. You shouldn't drink it's not setting a good example. Whatever I really don't care right now and I grab another one. After I've had a few beers and I'm a little drunk I forgot about Crystal and why I was sad. Hey your Rosmary aren't you. Yes and you would be? I'm Eligh would you like to dance? Sure. I see Gabby and Embry dancing. Give me your hand. Excuse me what did you say. I said give me your hand so we can dance. Oh sorry I put my hand in his and we start to dance.
