When I woke up Skye was still alseep so I grabbed my diary and started to write

Dear Diary,

I know I should have been listening better to Skye as we talked but my head wasn't in it I was thinking about Crystal and Eligh I just wish I could have calmed my mind down a little when I thought about them it made my stomach tie in knots I'm excited to get to know Skye she seems like a nice girl.

Morning Rosie. Jumps a little at her voice. Good morning Skye. Sorry I didn't mean to scare you. It's fine I just thought you were sleeping. Let's go outside today. Fine with me but it usually rains all day. I think it's going to be sunny today. I hope your right I might love the rain but I hate getting wet. We walk out of my room into the kitchen. We both mutter a good morning to our mothers. So did you girls sleep okay. Yes we did thanks Aunt Nessie Skye says. Before I can ever get a word out what does she not want my mom to know that she is a vampire/shapeshifter like me idk I'll have to ask her later. Well we are going out today I'm going to show Skye around love you mom. Love you too you girls have fun. We will Skye and I say at the same time and we are out the door. I take her down to the beach where Eligh is hanging out with Seth. Hey Eligh. Hey Seth this is my cousin Skye. Hi nice to meet you both. Seth just waves but Eligh being the person he is just comes out and asks. Are you from her mom's side or dad's? Dad's her dad is my uncle. Oh so your Rebecca's daughter. Yes. Eligh be nice she is new to this and your being noisey I say. Sorry baby I just wanted to know if she was a vampire or shapeshifter that's all I didn't mean to offend her. I'm sorry Skye he is just to blunt and curious for his own good. It's okay. Hey Rosie. Hmm what's up Seth? Are you going to be your sisters maid of honor at the wedding. Duh you know I am. I'm sorry Jakie the girl you met last night is Seth imprint and my sister well duh you knew that since she called me sis anyways there wedding is coming up which you knew too sorry Skye I forgot you knew you just didn't know who. Hey Rosie why don't you come cliff jumping with us we we're about to go? Sure I'd love too Eligh but I don't know if it's something Skye would be into and I can't just ditch her. No its fine I'll go I just don't know if I'll jump. Okay great. When Eligh and Seth walk off I grab Skye's arm you don't have to do this if you don't want to I would understand we could do something else. No its cool I want to watch you guys jump I might even give it a try. I give her a half hearted smile still worried that she is doing this for me not her but we go anyways. Okay who's jumping first. I am I always go first. Okay Eligh just don't kill yourself I can't raise the twins on my own. I know I know I'm not going to die well not today anyways. Then he jumps then Seth jumps then it's my turn. Are you sure you don't want to jump Skye. Hmm what did you say sorry I spaced out? Are you sure you don't want to jump? Yeah I'm going to jump. Okay I'll see you down there then I jump. Skye jumps as soon as I land in the water. When I swim up to the top she is smiling. What? Nothing I just never did anything like that before. Oh k. Well I'm going to go hunt if you want to come your welcome to since I know I won't kill you. Um sure since I don't want to be left alone. I hurry and get out of the water before the boys notice me and I run into the woods phasing to dry quicker when I'm all dry I phase back and begin my hunt I turn off my brain and let my instincts kick in and with in a few seconds I fine a deer to hunt. I track it down and pounce before I can realize that I'm there and which seem all to soon it's dead with no more blood. I look around to try to find Skye I see her hunting her own deer so I Stat quite and still till she is done then I'm by her side there is one more person I'd like you to met. Okay? When we get back to the reservation I start to head for Gabby's house. Okay your going to met my best friend in the whole world she cane be a little over dramatic. Okay thanks for warning me Rosie. Sure thing. I knock on the door and Gabby answers it. Omg Rosie I haven't seen you in forever she pulls me into a big bear hug taking my breath away. Gabby can't breath. Sorry she let's me go. Gabby this is my cousin Skye she is here for a visit this is dad's niece. Oh well hi I'm Gabby. Hi I'm Skye. Nice to met you. You too. Sorry Gab but we have to go back to the house it's getting late it's already 6 o'clock dad's going to be starting dinner soon. Okay bye it was nice to met you Skye. You too Gabby. We walk home in silence me trapped in my own thoughts about the pack and Eligh and Crystal I didn't mean for her to leave and go live with her mom I miss her. When we got to the house I wasn't hungry so I took a shower and went into my room Skye stayed and ate dinner with the rest of the family. When she came into the room she was quite I guessed because she thought I was sleeping or something so I just laid there in the dark and silence thinking about the day and this strange girl that I know call my cousin I drifted asleep shortly after Skye came into the room.
