GINGER'S VIEW

Well after that long meeting with the pack last night about the new leech at school, I was still tired.

We all had to be on guard because no leech can be trusted and Sawyer made sure Luke and I got that before going to meet the new guy.

"I'm Luke" Luke said in a bored and unconcerned tone just so the vice principal didn't think there was some early morning hatred going on, and the leech just looked him up and down, and I didn't say anything but Sawyer tensed infront me.

We all walked out of the office after he got his schedule, and Sawyer pinned him to wall immediately and growled low and deep.

"You better not even try killing any of these humans here, Leech! We've got a huge pack here so we could take you down easily!" Sawyer growled with alot of disgust in his tone and I couldn't blame him. These leeches were the cause of 90% of the deaths in this town, and we were the towns defenses because even the cops wouldn't last one second if they tried to deal with these leeches. Linda came by to get her flash drive. We were working together on this history project. She was one of us but she was moving to Ohio next week. I wasn't too happy about that but there was nothing I could do except visit/call.....

I looked around carefully to make sure no one was looking, the hallway seemed clear. I turned around to find the leech staring at me. I gave him a wicked look as I took in his features. He was about 5'11 with long black hair that was pulled into a ponytail, green/hazel eyes (don't ask me why his eyes are like that...do i look like a leech?) and he was seriously hot..even for a leech. I knew I shouldn't be thinking that way but I couldn't help it. I had to put on a serious face or I might just end up laughing....

"We'll see how that goes." The leech said calmly.

Sawyer let him go and growled one more time before turning to Luke and I.

"Luke you have him for first and second period. And Ginger,you have him for the remaining classes." He said glancing back at the leech. "His name's James Leroy. Anyways stay together, we'll meet after school." He finished.

Sawyer smiled at Luke and I, he was tall, about James' height, with blonde hair, silver eyes and a killer bod. Sawyer was hot and he knew it. He and I fist bumped and he nodded briefly to Luke.

"See ya." He said and jogged down the hallway but not before giving the leech a glare.

Luke and I smiled at each other and turned to the leech, his arms were crossed and he was leaning on the wall.

"Right. This way leech, Math's first." Luke said and turned around to face me. "He's yours for the rest of the day."

I nodded.

"Later." He said and pushed James forward.

"Whoa chill....dogs don't tell me what to do." James hissed.

"Better shut up and move!" I said growling, he just stared at me shrugged and walked off.

We didn't follow him right away, we waited till he went round the corner to the D-hallway.

"I'll take him....see ya during lunch!" Luke said and walked smoothly after him.

I nodded and waved at him. Luke Barnes was my closest friend in the pack, we'd been friends since we were born into the pack.

I had all day with this leech, that meant I was mostly in charge of him for the day and every pack member at school would be depending on my guarding skills. This wasn't the time to let the pack down or let some kid get all the blood sucked outta them.

I sighed and pulled out a granola bar to snack on. I couldn't wait for third period to see if the leech would dare to try anything stupid......
