I was awoken by a sweet voice.

"Uoh, uoh, uoh, uoh,~" she hummed.

Then I saw a beautiful young queen right infront of me staring back at me. Her eyes full of joy and happiness.

"Good morning, my emerald princess." she greeted me. Her lapis blue eyes shimmered along the early morning sun rays reaching in my room.

"Good morning mummy." I smiled back.

"Today is such a very special day, my emerald." she paused and stood up. The queen slowly opened my cutains letting more sunlight in my room. "My little princess is already seven years old. My, my, time flies so fast, right my emerald?" she smirked.

"Happy birthday to me!" I greeted myself and looked at her full of joy and excitement.

"My emerald is no baby anymore." she gave out a deep sigh. "I wish you to have a joyful day today." she continued.

"Does that mean..."

"Yes, my emerald." she cutted me.

I jump from my bed and hugged her tight. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, Mummy you are the best!" I repeated.

I went to my dresser and changed clothes. Wore a blue dress made with the finest silk but has a few blood stains mixed with mud. I am such devilish kid. Before I could rush outside the queen stopped me.

"Nathalie wait!" she said. "Here, my gift to you." in her hand i saw a beautiful necklace. The lace was pure silver and had an emerald gem formed into the family's crest. The clubs pendant was wrap with silver as well. I let out a gasp because of its beauty.

"Mother, thank you so much. It is so beautiful. It will always be precious to me." i said and wore the necklace.
"I believe you are not wearing your heels while playing." she said and pointed the green box near my dresser. "Use those instead."

I ran near the box and opened it. There I saw nicely made leather booths, having some silver details wrap around the boots. I quickly fit the boots on, gave my mother a kiss good bye and went outside my room.

Sneaking out was really easy. Now time to visit the blacksmith.
