I Won't Give Up (Big Time Rush Story)

Chapter 6

SORRY ITS SO SHORT. I just felt bad that this took so long! :)

I woke up on the floor the next morning to sun coming in through the windows, and Emma crying.  huh, I thought I was on the couch…and why isn’t Leah checking on her..?  I got up and stretched, walking down the hall to my room. I saw Emma in her crib, but my bed was empty. I sighed, I can’t believe she’d just leave. I walked over to Emma and picked her up, rocking her back and forth, before setting her down on the floor to change her diaper. After I was done, I picked her up and laid down on my bed, with her on my chest. I heard a crinkle as I laid down. It was a note:

“Kendall,

Sorry I had to leave, I have a class at 10, and so I needed to get back to school. I hope you don’t mind, I had to take your car. Don’t worry, I’ll bring it back later tonight, after my classes.

Love,

Leah.”

I sighed.

“Great. And now that mommy has taken the car, we are stuck here all day!” I said to Emma with fake enthusiasm. Just then, Carlos walked in.

“Hey, we should get going, photoshoot with Popstar. I called Kevin, he’s gonna come and watch Emma while we’re working. And I’ll take her now, you go take a shower.” He told me, reaching down and taking Emma to the living room. I laughed, taking out some clothes and heading to the bathroom. I showered quickly and came back to find all the boys at the kitchen table, and Emma in her high chair, eating some kind of baby food. I smiled, bending down and kissing her forehead before grabbing a banana and sitting down next to Logan.

“So who’s driving?” I asked everyone. Carlos said he would, he saw Leah leave this morning.

Soon, we were all packed into Carlos’ car, Logan sitting in the back with me, with Emma in the middle, and James sitting in the front, next to our driver, Carlos. It was only a ten minute drive to get to the L.A. Popstar headquarters. We saw Colleen and Natasha, which is always cool. They’re big fans. We all hugged and they started to tell us where the snacks were, and everything that would be happening today. They stopped pretty quickly when they saw me holding Emma in her carseat.

“Who’s this?” they asked. I sighed, and James began to tell them the whole story, but that we wanted to keep it quiet for a little while. They nodded, and then said that they would keep an eye on her while we were shooting.

The photoshoot that I thought would be terrible, ended up being a ton of fun.  And soon it was lunchtime and as I got Emma out of her carseat to feed her, they suggested that after lunch we do a ustream (on their account) for all the Rushers. Carlos agreed for us and we all nodded. This should be fun… I thought to myself.
