"Good morning, Jax." I yawned and looked up at him. "How'd you get around the cops that watch him?" Jax growled at me. "What are you talking about?" I asked getting slightly annoyed with his need to keep moving the gun around. "Zobelle was a snitch, he had Feds watching him." Jax roared at me. By now he was waking people up and they were making their way to my room.
"He knows how to ditch a tail I'm sure." I muttered. "He's dead." Jax growled pushing the gun harder against my skull. "Hey! Hey! Jackson!" Tig protested stepping forward and trying to take the attention away from me. "Think about what you're doing, man." Tig warned. "She's got a gun under that pillow." Happy added. "She won't use it." Tig said with a hint of annoyance. "Why won't you use it?" Jax asked.
"I got a thing about killing family, and you're Tig's family." I sighed. I got comfy in the bed and looked at Jax. "Either shoot me or get out, either way I'm going to sleep." I snapped at him. They all stormed out except for Happy. "You like the stars?" he asked and I smiled at him before nodding. He followed the others out.
I couldn't get back to sleep after that so I cleaned the blood off of my weapons. Juice came in and sat next to me as I was finishing up. "You okay, kid?" he asked and I nodded. "I should start packing though. I'll probably be moving again soon." I said and he frowned. "What do you mean? Tig won't give you up." he asked. "No, they never let me stay anywhere for more than a couple months. I've got a feeling that my time here is going to be short, they don't want me to develop relationships or attachments to anyone." I said trying my hardest to sound cold and distant.
That was hard to do with Juice. He saved my life after barely knowing me. I do care about Juice, but I can't let that show or he'll be killed.
"You've barely been here a week." he protested. "Would it make you happy if I waited until the last minute to pack?" I asked and he nodded.
I sighed and followed him out of my room. I don't know how they live here, it's such a complicated environment.
I walked out to TM and an FBI agent was talking to Jax. I walked over to Opie. "What's that?" I asked. "Agent Stahl. ATF, she's trying to take down the club." he said quietly as he worked. "Tyler!" Jax yelled and I walked over. "Yeah, Jax?" I asked sweetly. "Hi. I'm agent Stahl, ATF. Do you think you could come with me and have a little talk?" she asked. "I don't know, I'd have to ask my uncle. I'm new around here, so he doesn't want me getting lost, y'know? He's just such a nice guy for taking me in." I rambled on in that sweet tone of voice. "Okay, well here's my card. I want you to give me a call after you talk with your uncle." she said and I nodded taking the card.
She got in her car and left. "Did you eat a small innocent child? And is that child trapped inside of you because who the fuck was that talking to Stahl?" he asked and I smirked. "Jax, you've got a lot to learn about me." I chuckled and he put his arm around me again as we walked back to Opie. "I think she's going to single handedly bring down Stahl's case." Jax laughed.
"So when are you going to call her?" Jax asked. "I don't know." I shrugged. "Who we calling? Is she hot?" Tig asked walking over. "Agent Stahl." I said showing him the card. "She wants me to have a chat with her. I said I'd have to ask my dear old uncle first." I said giving him a fake smile. "I'm not old." he said and snatched the card from my hand.
"Aww Tiggy, don't worry I still love you even with those grey hairs." I said and he turned to look in the mirror searching for grey hair that wasn't there. Opie high fived me. "How's Lyla holding up?" I asked. "She's doing good. Took some time off to stay home with the kids." he said and I smiled. "That's good, Ope." I told him. "Where's the grey at?" Tig asked. "It's right there! You see it too, Jax?" I asked as I pointed in Tig's general direction. "Yeah, man. You'll be looking like Bobby before you know it, brother." Jax said and I hide to bite my lip to keep from laughing at Tig's worried expression.
