Chapter 1

Mabel's POV

I was laying on my bed, thinking about Grunkle Stan's and Grunkle Ford's relationship had gone downhill...

I looked over at Dipper... he didn't think too much of that...

But one question hit me... and it still stung... Would Dipper and I end up like that? I certainly hope not...

I eventually fell asleep..

Dipper's POV

I woke up.. I was in adventurous mood today...

I grabbed journal 3 and walked downstairs.. I mean every adventurer needs breakfast!!

"Good morning!" I said to Grunkle Stan.

"Morning kid," he replied,"breakfast for you and Mabel is on the table."

"Okay!"

I ate the waffles Grunkle Stan set out for us... but Mabel was still sleeping...

"I'll be back later!" I yelled to Grunkle Stan. I heard a quiet grunt meaning 'Okay'.

I walked out the door and the door shut behind me.

Mabel's POV

I was going downstairs when I heard the door close.. I saw that it was Dipper and I really needed to talk to him about my though... I ran down the stairs, tripping on the last step, getting up, and running out the door.

"Dipper wait!" I yelled but I was too late... I decided to get dressed and eat...

I got my new sweater I made two days ago, it was lavender with an image of yellow sun with sunglasses... I grabbed the waffles in my hand and ran outside, taking bites of waffle here and there... I ran through some branches..

"Ow!" I said.

You know what? I thought, I'm going back!

So, I went back to the Mystery Shack...

Dipper's POV

"Dipper!" I heard Mabel scream. I turned around.

"Oh hi Mabel. What are you doing out here?"

"I wanted to go with you!" she said. I noticed her sweater, it had a picture of me stitched on it.

"What made you make that sweater?" I asked.

"To think about you.." she replied.

"Oh, okay!"

We walked deeper into the forest.

"Hey Dipper.. I've got a question..."

"What?"

"How much... do you... trust me?"

"I trust you a lot, since we're twins..."

"Oh, okay... I thought after the course of events... You wouldn't trust me anymore..." she sighed...

"And to show me that you trust me... follow me.."

"Okay... I do trust you..." I replied.

She was leading and there was a cave....

"Okay... go forward okay?"

"Got it." I said determined.

I went forward. There was a lab.. and cage... I walked into the cage to check it out... I was done looking at that. I couldn't find Mabel..

"Mabel?!"

"Sorry, I'm not sorry!" I heard her say... and her a door slamming, and being locked.

I ran to the door that got locked.

"Hey! Hello! Anyone there?! Mabel! Mabel! Mabel, open up! MABEL, OPEN THE DANG DOOR!!" I yelled while banging my fists against the door.

"Uggh... Someone please..." I looked at my fists, they were bleeding a bit from the pain...

"Oww.." This sucks! It hurts so much! I looked around the lab... It was pretty cool... I went back in the cage.

"Wow. I didn't see much of this the first time.." I said in awe. I went to touch the bar with my hand... then I felt a small pinch... I moved my hand and saw a syringe... I started to get nauseous.. I fell down... and fell asleep...

Mabel's POV

I was waiting for Dipper to get back.... I looked out into the woods, and saw Dipper coming out... He was in perfect condition.

"Dipper! You've been gone for hours! Where have you been?"

"There was a monster that I was chasing for hours! I eventually gave up..."

"Oh, okay.. Tell me about!"
